A beautiful place to stay, the room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed the full kitchen, comfy chairs and nice view of the lovely trees in blossom in the grounds

Great location and outlook. New parking rates seem extreme (i.e. charging paying guests who are already paying premium rates) but this was soon resolved at checkout. Thanks for a great stay.

As a relatively small hotel, it felt a more comfortable environment. The staff were pleasant and welcoming. Breakfast provided a large rang of choice and food delivery was prompt. Getting an early breakfast had the added bonus of a view of the garden and wild birds feeding. Our room with a balcony was spacious with everything we needed. An easy walk into Bowness.

Hotel was great for a child-free weekend away to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We had a hot tub room, which we used multiple times and were able to order cocktails from the bar directly to the hot tub! Spa was great too. 10 minute walk to Bowness and the lake (and lots of pubs, bars and restaurants), so the location was perfect.
