All around 10/10 hotel

This hotel is the best one in Waikiki in terms of convenience, location and views! It is right in the middle of the main strip with all the restaurants and shops and steps across from the beach and hula mound with free Hawaiian shows. The convenience of checking out rent free beach chairs and towels at the hotel pool is unbeatable! Walk up a couple blocks on Ulunio Ave and rent surf and paddle boards at a lesser price than the vendors on the beach. This is a remodeled historic hotel so there may be some work being done during your stay. Escalators for one tower were currently closed, but this did not cause noise or inconvenience for us. The rooms are large with nice amenities such as a toilet bidet, refrigerator, and a balcony with a beautiful view if you want to pay to upgrade which we thought was well worth the cost.

Favorite thing was the opportunity to stargaze with an astronomer. So fun! Pool is small-ish but there was plenty of space of chairs (note: our trip was during the off-season). Great location for amenities and a chill beach. Liked that there was a few things included in the stay (chairs, SUP boards, etc - you could choose 3) but be warned you have to go early to get them.
