Venture outwards and see what's happening in Neuvy Le Barrois, 6 kilometres to the northwest. Lots of visitors come here for Parc Floral d'Apremont and the Golf public du Nivernais. Alternatively, Gimouille is 14 kilometres to the north of Langeron. Stop at this locality for easy access to Nevers Cathedral and Palais Ducal.
Marzy, 19 kilometres to the north, is a great little excursion Use it as a base when swinging by Convent of St. Gildard, Sainte Bernadette Nevers and Parc Roger-Salengro. If you need more persuading, other nearby attractions include Tour Goguin and Porte de Croux.
