A good deal of this city's leading sights are dotted near Near West End, and the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and the Science Museum of Virginia are some of the most impressive. After taking a look at those, you'll want to keep going to the Museum of the Confederacy and the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. While you're in town, think about exploring some other neighbourhoods to see more of what Richmond offers. Carytown and Museum District are good recommendations that aren't too far away.
