I love cats. From Hairless cats and ginger ninjas to black cats and super fluffy persians, they all bring me happiness only a cat can give (and the itchy eyes too!). Here are my top picks for you to get your cat fix whilst travelling around the world, and also a coffee hit 😉
Cat Town Cafe – Oakland California, USA.
Cat Town Cafe is America’s first permanent cat cafe with between 6-20 cats roaming in the “cat zone” of their cafe and GUESS WHAT- all the cats are available for adoption! It could be a little hard to adopt since you would be travelling but it’s a good feeling knowing that up to 140 people every day will visit the cats and at some point, all the cats will find their furever home!
Cat Cuddle Cafe – Brisbane, Australia

Being Brisbane’s first cat cafe, they rule the roost in the sunshine state. All of their kitty cats are rescue cats and you can adopt them too! They run a rescue, Pussies Galore which is where all the gorgeous cats at the cafe come from.
Meow Parlour – New York, USA
Meow Parlour is New York’s’ first ever cat cafe. They have plenty of cats (currently 14!) available for you to cuddle and play with for 30mins or even up to 5 hours. They are also up for adoption, so should you know of anyone who lives in The Big Apple who wants a cat…send them here.
Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium – London, England

Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium is London’s first ever cat cafe and is the purrrfect place to take a break after a hectic morning exploring the city. With a heap of sweet treats on the menu and 10 resident cats (who also have their own twitter accounts) you’re bound to fall in love with this cafe. If you’re the fancy type, Lady Dinah’s also offers High Tea. Oh la la!

Being the first cat cafe in Australia, they have the bragging rights for being the best. Their passion and love for cats of all sizes, breeds and fluffiness drove them to open this amazing cafe where you can chillax with the coolest cats in the neighbourhood (Well…in Melbourne). All of their cats have been rescued from shelters, and they believe every cat deserves a second chance…and rightly so, they’re all just so damn cute!
Niko No Niwa, Singapore
