Another year, another birthday approaches. But more importantly, another year without having experienced this place called Melbourne. With the weather in Brisbane hardly lending to celebration, flights <\/a> were booked, accommodation<\/a>\u2026 check, plans\u2026 None! I figured being there for a long weekend was plans enough.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
That weather I mentioned earlier\u2026 Well apparently I took that along with me! However, the dreary days were a perfect chance to get my bearing for next time! Camera in hand I took to the streets\u2026 Here is a bit of Melbourne through my virgin eyes.<\/p>\n

The first of many stops at the Queen Victoria Markets<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

Still had doughnuts at this stage so passed on the fruit<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

Unfortunately I only had carry on baggage allowance<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

A cool alternative to get to and from the Footy<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

Showing its wears<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

Climbing the Bridge<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

Thought better of a permanent memory of the trip<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

Just so I remembered that it was Melbourne<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

Still a ways to under the clocks<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

Disgruntled on Degraves<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

On the steps of Centre Place<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

Strangely the best view from Bells Beach was facing North<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

Although these two may not agree<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

Meet me under the clocks<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

Going the green option<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

Standing out<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

I am sure it was a great commuter in its day<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

Blending into its surrounds<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

Taking in some entertainment on a study break<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

Pondering on the Harbour Esplanade<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

View from the Front Seat of the City Circle<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

The sounds of the end of the work day<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

Flinders Street Station – Unaffected by time<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

Making evening plans<\/p><\/div>\n

\"<\/a>

Closing Time<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n
