When it comes to Valentine\u2019s Day, I\u2019m not really one for PDAs.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n

After all, leaving the house on the most romantic day of the year is likely to mean hitting the same restaurants as the rest of Australia\u2019s loved-up couples. I\u2019m a big believer in enjoying the company of my partner, and so when it comes to Valentine\u2019s Day, I much prefer to escape the crowds and check into a lush hotel for the weekend.<\/p>\n

Yes, the big day is creeping closer, but that doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s too late to get your lover something spesh. Even if it’s not for this weekend, there are plenty of romantic stays around Oz, and if you book now, you\u2019ll earn some serious brownie points with your better half.<\/p>\n

Here are my top six picks for a spontaneous romantic getaway all year round:<\/p>\n
