So you\u2019ve made the decision to journey to the centre of Australia \u00a0To experience Uluru and Kata Tjuta up close and personal, \u00a0#wellplayed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But now\u2026where do you start?<\/p>\n

How do you plan your trip to make the most out of this unique Australian experience? Here are my top tips on how to do it right\u2026<\/p>\n

1. Spend more than one night.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

If you\u2019re going to tick Uluru off your bucket list then you best give it the time it truly deserves. In my opinion you need to go for at least 3 nights\/ 4 days. This may be your once in a lifetime trip so make sure that you give yourself enough time. We didn\u2019t get to see Kings Canyon<\/a> and I would 100% advise you include that in your plans!<\/p>\n\"Nat<\/a>\n

2. \u00a0Don\u2019t stress about $$!<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ayers Rock Resort<\/a> provides a variety of accommodation options for every possible taste and budget. From the 5-star Sails in the Desert<\/a> to the Ayers Rock campground, check out the deals and make the best choice for you. Regardless of where you stay you can dine in all the restaurants and use the shared facilities.<\/p>\n

3. Bring the kids!<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Yes – this is definitely a family friendly trip. But just wait for your kids to be maybe 6 or 7 years old and then get out there\u2026<\/p>\n

4. Get on the free stuff!<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Make sure you find the Resort\u2019s activities coordinator to scope out the details of all the great free activities talks and walks (there are heaps!)<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0Book your tours and day trips in advance (there are more than 65 on offer!)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The days start early and there\u2019s a lot to pack into each day. From sunrise Camel Rides<\/a> (a must do!) to the Sounds of Silence dinner<\/a>, this is truly a place that you \u201cdo\u201d so make sure to budget both time and money.<\/p>\n\"Nat<\/a>\n\"Nat<\/a>\n

\u00a06.<\/strong>\u00a0Treat yo\u2019 self!<\/strong><\/h3>\n

If you have time I suggest a treatment at the Red Ochre Spa<\/a> \u2026it has world-class facilities and attentive staff. I\u2019m a huge fan of a cheeky massage at the best of times, but after a busy few days, this is the ultimate luxury and holiday treat.<\/p>\n

\u00a07.\u00a0<\/strong>Don\u2019t forget your toothbrush!<\/strong><\/h3>\n

You\u2019ll also need sunscreen, a hat, water bottle, sunglasses and light, loose clothing \u2013 all year round. Pack some warmer gear in the winter months as things are cool in the evening and before the sun\u2019s up. Of course bring anything and everything you own that takes photos and video\u2026you will take a thousand and they will all be picture perfect!<\/p>\n\"Nat<\/a>\n
