Great place to stay

We loved the FerryHill Hotel. The check in was easy and the room clean and quiet with plenty of space. Breakfast was included the next day and we ate dinner at the restaurant as well. The service and care from check in to our meals to check out was kind and caring. You are able to park in the lot at the hotel for free and the walk to your room is short. Between the hospitality and the wonderful room, this is a must stay in Aberdeen.

What a quaint hotel located in a very nice neighborhood in Aberdeen. The hotel itself is very clean and comfortable. The only thing to be aware of there is a lot of stairs to your room, especially if you are on the 3rd floor, as we were. But it was worth it! There is a lovely outdoor patio for sunny days and a pub inside plus a higher end restaurant. We ate at both and the food was very good. Seems to be a popular place for local residents.

Very good but could be even better

The only reason I did not give a 5 star review was a few things that prevented me from having a great stay. 1: The bar remains open till 10 pm and I was in a room (#2) right above it. The music and patrons was noisy enough that I could not sleep. 2: The outdoor floodlights stay in till 10:30 pm causing the room to light up brightly even with curtains closed. 3: The mattress needs to be changed as it was lumpy and felt very worn. The staff did their best to do what they could but were limited due to some above the above could not be addressed by them. The food including the breakfast was very good. I suggest if you book here and prefer to go to bed prior to 10:30 pm, ask for a room that is not above the bar.

Nice location and was easy to find. The food in the pub was plentiful and good. Staff were great. Our room was on the very top floor which had a nice view. The room we found a bit stuffy and we were not able to fully open the window for fresh air. The room itself is carpeted and shows signs of stains.

Great place to stay.

Our stay was great. Felt very comfortable and safe here. The bar tenders are amazing! They work so hard. We were impressed by the service. They checked us in, helped with the luggage, poured us a couple drinks, made reservations, then waited our table for dinner. Location was good for walking around and seeing the city. The food is excellent. Thought it was weird to leave our key whenever we left but we got over that and was fine. We would stay here again.

Luxury stopover

Large car park. 10 mins walk to Union Street. Friendly attentive staff, both in the day and evening. Pub Quiz Thursday was fun! Clean spacious bedroom, large comfy bed, great for a good night sleep after a long drive. Scrumptious Scottish full breakfast. Will definitely come back for a longer stay.
