Maxine’s Place is a one-of-a-kind gem that’s bursting with charm! When you stay here, you’ll be swept into a delightful wave of good vibes that’ll make your heart do a happy dance. It’s like stepping into a magical world where every corner has its own little sparkle.Not only can you sip on a delicious cup of coffee while watching the most breathtaking sunrises, but you can also unwind in the evenings around our cozy fire pit, nestled in a backyard adorned with blooming rose bushes. Inside, you'll be whisked back in time with a sprinkle of nostalgia, thanks to charming deco details and some delightful antique furnishings. This spacious haven has everything you need, from a fun game area for the kids to a fully stocked coffee bar for the grown-ups.
And a little about Maxine: she was a true 1932 Model, as she fondly called herself, hailing from Eula, TX. Maxine earned numerous basketball medals in high school and spent over 50 years as a beloved teacher with Abilene Independent School District. She later went on to mentor future educators, wrapping up her career at Abilene Christian University. Living to the grand age of 91, she passed away in 2023. Maxine adored this home, and her granddaughter, after giving it a few updates, is thrilled to share its warmth and charm with you!
