The room was pretty clean and has been nicely updated. I did notice hair on a washcloth and some surfaces could have been cleaner. Since the showerhead doesn’t move, and you have to enter the shower to turn it on, it completely and immediately soaks you.

Traveled with spouse and another family member for this trip. This was an out of town trip and we traveled over 500 miles to be with family for the Holiday. Our first set of rooms were horrible. Two third floor rooms had issues within them. One room had about 4-5 sagging water pockets in the ceiling and a huge chunk of the popcorn ceiling looked as if it was rubbed out for some reason. At least 2-3 of the water pockets were over the bed. In the other room, there was trashed left in the room and a towel left on the bathroom floor. After requesting a room change, a roomon the fourth floor had a crack in the ceiling in the bathroom; right at the edge of the shower. Lastly, it was noted a dirty breakfast room floor and chairs. The breakfast room had not obviously been swept or mopped from Saturday in Sunday morning--- it was very obvious with litter on the floor and dog hair on one of the chairs. Lastly, I will not leave out the elevator that has loose siding and dirty hallway carpets. This is despicable to be called the Hampton by Hilton. They should be holding themselves up to a higher standard since they have the Hampton by Hilton name stamped on their building and stationary. They have the Hampton name but NOT the HAMPTON OR HILTON standards.

Overall it was fine, room was clean, staff were nice. Just a couple of little things that were kind of a bummer…the coffee in the lobby/breakfast area was barely warm. There was no water in the lobby and the water dispenser was not working, and there was no conditioner in the shower. Also, a common thing that I don’t understand- why is it set up so you have to basically be standing all the way in the shower to reach the knob to turn the water on, so the freezing cold water has to hit you? Why can you not just reach in and turn the faucet on from outside the shower stall? Also no fan in bathroom.

I like everything about this hotel, from the front staff, to the housecleaning, location, breakfast, i stay at this hotel when i go to sporting events in Philadelphia, the surrounding area has some great shops and resterants within a few miles of this hotel, rooms have always been clean.. th aks again for another great experience
