I am absolutely furious with the management of the Radisson Corning. In advance of my hip replacement, I was excited to have a relaxing weekend for the annual Sparkle festival (Dec. 5&6). Had the hotel been fully operational, I would have had the restaurant and bar close by with little walking to do. However, the management, in their infinite wisdom, decided to close the restaurant and bar off and rent it to a private party, leaving dozens of patrons out in the cold. This, on arguably the busiest night of the year! We were told that we would be allowed in at 8:30 pm, so we walked to other establishments until that time. Then, we were told that we had been misinformed. We brought with us three other parties who rented rooms on my recommendation. How embarrassing! I cannot imagine how the management of the Radisson Corning does not have the foresight to block off private reservations for this event, no doubt losing a lot of money for the hotel and its staff. Not only was our Christmas holiday ruined, but so was my hip from all the extra walking we had to do. We had 3 other rooms rented out with us and we all consider this trip to be a complete waste of money. In addition, the outdoor patio, which used to be very beautiful with outdoor seating, firepits, ice carvings and lights continues to lay dark and barren for this event since 2020. Radisson needs to do better!

No free breakfast did not go to the restaurant. Everything was good except there is no microwave in the room. When we asked about a microwave they were going to bring one to our room. Waited over a 1/2 then called down and asked again for the microwave then waited over 40 mi minutes decided to just go get dinner. Hoping it was in the room when we got back and it was not. They need to have them in the rooms or access to one for patrons.

upon check in I was asked if I had a preference on location of room, by elevator or further down hall. I said no next to elevator but closer than further. I get to room, it's almost end of hallway. I needed to call front desk to ask a question, no phone in room. I tried to look up phone number on website, all I could find was a reservation phone number. they did offer to get a phone but still.... I pulled the shade down for night, it continued to pull down to the point it seemed like it was going to break. I called about this. They came and said they'd fix it another day. Overall, not happy and would not recommend.
