Perfect location to explore Kilkenny. Hotel is authentic so a bit dated but that is to be expected in an historical property. Room was clean and comfortable. Cooked to order breakfast was perfect.

I appreciate the location being so close to main tourist area. Be aware of the time you are arriving as there is a very large school across the street which can be extremely difficult to navigate with so many pedestrians. The room was newly renovated and clean. Entrance to the room was outside the main hotel which was actually appreciated. The bar was good as was the restaurant for breakfast. Very charming hotel that has kept much of its history.

We had a great experience during our stay at The Club Hoise with a few notable pros and cons. The Good: We were lucky to be in one of the newly renovated rooms, and it was absolutely stunning! The design was modern, stylish, and very comfortable, making it a lovely place to unwind. The hotel's location is another highlight, with plenty of great local food and coffee spots nearby. Cafe La Coco is a must-visit—hands down a 10/10 experience. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, adding to the positive atmosphere of our stay. The Bad: While the room was fantastic, the hotel itself was a bit tricky to navigate. Getting our bags up several flights of stairs was a challenge, especially without an elevator. This could be an issue for anyone needing accessibility features. Another downside was the food; unfortunately, it didn’t meet our expectations given the price point. We didn’t feel it was worth the cost.

The location is great and offers ample parking. The breakfast included is amazing. There were only 2 issues we incurred. There is no elevator and if you have a large suitcase beware! Moving it up all the stairs is a physical challenge. Also our room was above a party area that blared music until 1am and then the loud party talkers went to 2am. Hey, it was a saturday night! But choose your rooms wisely

Rooms are very basic. One must know prior there is NO elevator. Heavy suitcases are hard to maneuver throughout the stairs. Brkfst served is very fantastic. We did stay on a Saturday night and the music downstairs was horribly loud until 1am and then the party went on until 2:30am. All in all I would return but choose my room away from the hotel party area

We stayed in one of the outside entry newer suites. It was clean and roomy. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very modern. There was an abundance of charging wall outlets, which was very convenient. All staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay there again when visiting Kilkenny.

This bnb's walkability (eg 4-min walk to Kilkenny castle) and parking lot (in the back) made it an easy choice for our stay. While this property has updated common areas, not all of their bedrooms are renovated and we got stuck with an old room (Room 7) which we knew there was a chance of. Would recommend this place if you can guarantee a renovated room!

Couldn’t have stayed at a better hotel in Kilkenny. Was our first night in Ireland, really started us off on the right foot. The hotel definitely gave us a historic Irish vibe, walkable to local attractions, and the staff took good care of us. I would definitely return and stay longer.
