WELCOME TO "LE VIEIL AIGLUN" !

"Le Vieil Aiglun" is a private medieval hamlet whose only remaining buildings have been converted into four charming and comfortable gîtes. One of these four gîtes is named "Gîte de Ferdinand."

The "Gîte de Ferdinand" has a private garden overlooking the lavender fields, away from the three other gîtes on the property, and enjoys great privacy.

The 7-hectare property also offers shared relaxation areas: a large, secure swimming pool (13 x 6 m) with breathtaking panoramic views, a pétanque court with a cocktail area, a ping-pong table, and several terraces equipped with lounge chairs and hammocks.
Le Vieil Aiglun boasts a remarkable location atop a ridge and boasts a 360° panoramic view.

DESCRIPTION OF "LE GÎTE DE FERDINAND":

A beautiful old house, once occupied by the notables of the hilltop village of Aiglun, with impressive views of the valley, this gîte sleeps 2 to 6 people in 120m² of space. This gîte is rated 4 épis and offers superior comfort.
It features:

ON THE GROUND FLOOR:
- a living room with a fireplace, sofas, and a television;
- a fully equipped open-plan kitchen with an oven, microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, etc.
- a dining area with a large table and access to the terrace;
- a shower room with a toilet and laundry room (washing machine and dryer).

ON THE FIRST FLOOR:
- a very large double bedroom with a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and a sitting area (sofa bed). Panoramic views of the valley from the bedroom;
- a large bathroom with a bathtub, separate shower, double sinks, and toilet.

ON THE SECOND FLOOR:
- a double bedroom with two single beds (90 x 200 cm) that can be placed side by side;
- a toilet with a sink.

OUTSIDE:
The house opens onto a private, west-facing garden with a furnished terrace (table, chairs, garden furniture) and shaded views of the lavender fields. In summer (from mid-May to the end of September), a large, secure swimming pool (13x6 m) is available to our guests. We also offer a large garden shared with the other gîtes on the property. The property boasts breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and mountains, as well as the old Romanesque church overlooking the hamlet (illuminated at night). Numerous tables, chairs, deckchairs, and hammocks are available for our guests, perfect for reading a book or admiring the panoramic views. The four gîtes each have a private garden and are completely isolated from each other, respecting everyone's privacy.

"Le Vieil Aiglun" is completely secluded, located at the end of a small dead-end road. Peace and quiet are therefore guaranteed. However, the small town of Digne-les-Bains, with all the shops and restaurants and its twice-weekly market, is located 12 km away (15 minutes by car), and the nearest supermarkets are 8 km away (10 minutes by car).

RATES:

Rates are all-inclusive.
During mid- and high season, the house is rented by the week, from Saturday to Saturday.
During low season, the house can also be rented for SHORT STAYS (minimum 3 nights) - contact us.
