Great location just off the main Maribeau and the Big Fountain. A block from the Tourism Center. HARD to get luggage to. Plan to walk with it due to the caissons. Tons of restaurants and things to see right around the hotel. We had a car and parked at the Mignet Parking garage. Very small rooms, which is expected considering the location. Super happening on the main level. Was a more rowdy area than the rest of our trip. Tons of outdoor cafes right around the hotel. Served it's purpose. Staff was great and lively.

Room was not as clean as should have been. Property was in various need of deep clean and repair. Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. Property was in a convenient location for walking and touring but not convenient to taxi/uber access with luggage.

Sadly, this hotel has seen better days. The walls are scuffed, furniture is chipped, and the floors are so slanted our suitcases rolled across them. The staff, however, were great! And the beds were comfortable. The bathroom had hair in the sink and on the floor. Superbly located to walking through the old town, but also very noisy is your room faces the main street. No parking -- park in "Mignet" parking, about a 9 minute walk away.

I was given a room with a view to a very dark back court, dirty; windows made to obstruct vision out. I requested a better room (for a week's stay) and was given one immediately. Beautiful dining room is off limits to guests after breakfast. Breakfast is skimpy, no fruit, no vegetables. Director of the property is enlightened and very hospitable.

Very Misleading - Not worth it

So disappointing... This was a honeymoon and they knew it. First, this is more like a dorm room or hostel than a 3 star hotel. Poorly maintained, damage to doors, walls and floors. No AC when they advertise they have it. When I called they said - oh, it's broken in that room. That's why there is a fan. Oh, OK.... that makes it better..... Had I known I would have cancelled. No chance. They offered free breakfast - which we declined. Would rather pay for something decent. There are items for making tea - but no kettle! Rooms are extremely small and terribly dated as well. Nothing good except maybe the guy at the front desk who genuinely seemed apologetic.

The reception staff and cleaning team were nice, helpful and friendly. However, the facilities were not well-maintained, damaged walls, paint scraped, cracked tile and shower basin. One described amenities was not available. I had to ask for a safe and a “do not disturb” sign. Great location, just as you enter the city center. Quiet in room despite the busy area outside.

Great room, great staff

We had a great room with a huge bathroom. The staff was very helpful. The hotel is located in a busy area but the windows blocked all noise. Very close to the Cours Mirabeau.

Outstanding service, great location, nicest bathroom in Aix en Provence! Parking is tough but that is the case everywhere. This is a great small find for a quick stay.

Talk about location , location, location. This hotel is located in the center of the action on Aix on Provence. Shops, night life, hotel staff was amazing, our suite had a huge bathroom and was perfect for our family of 3. We ended up extending our stay for 3 more days

This is an excellent hotel in the old village. Like all things in the village, parking is a challenge, making for a tricky check-in if you have a lot of luggage. The hotel staff, while friendly, it’s a little shorthanded so they can be difficult to locate. Overall, a very good hotel for Southern France.
