Good value / parking an issue

Our experience here overall was good and we felt it provided good value for money. The hotel room included a mini-fridge and a microwave and a good-sized bathroom.The hotel is convenient to a lot of central Aix. However, the parking (even in the underground garage) is limited and cannot be reserved in advance. We ended up parking at the La Rotonde parking garage -- about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. Food options close to the hotel seemed limited.

Rooms are beautifully styled with natural light, sheer curtains and nice lighting. Bed was a bit hard, duvet was a bit hot, and the pillows were a bit squishy, but overall a nice place to stay.

Je souhaite faire une réclamation J’ai oublié un vaporisateur d’eau J’ai appelé 3 fois pour prévenir que l’on me le mettre de côté car je repassais quelques heures plus tard pour prendre ma valise que j’avais laissé à l’accueil. Personne ne m’a répondu Ensuite lorsque je suis revenue On m’a confirmé que le vaporisateur n’était pas dans la chambre. Je suis certaine de l’avoir laissé dans le réfrigérateur. Convenient to the university

I spent 3 nights at the Originals while attending a meeting at the adjacent Aix Marseille Université (which is a 1-minute walk away). The Originals is fairly new and so the facilities are in top condition. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast (which is an additional charge) is good and plentiful. The rooms are small by south-France standards but otherwise adequate. The location is very convenient to the university but on the fringe of the downtown area. It is a 10-15 minute walk to the bus and train station and restaurants. Rooms have small kitchenettes and so for longer stays you might want to visit a market, the closest is a 10-15 minute walk. If you are a jogger, the primary option is on the streets/sidewalks, although there is a large park about 1 km away. Be warned that housekeeping is not daily, and may be as long as 3-5 days between housekeeping visits. If you want more frequent housekeeping, there is an additional charge.

Trash can is small and have to dispose by ourselves since we use the kitchenette to consume take outs. There is a bus route near the hotel if you prefer not to walk every time.
