With a network of paths, some dating back to Roman times, the area is a green oasis, even in the hot Andalusian summer months. El Molino is an ideal base from which to explore this magnificent region.
Set in some of the most beautiful mountain scenery in southern Spain, amidst cork oak and chestnut forests, the 6 cottages provide a cosy retreat in an unrivalled setting.
The lounge has a TV and DVD, a collection of DVDs and CD's is available for your use in the common room where you can select from free of charge. The terrace overlooks a magnificent view of the garden and the surrounding area.
The six stone houses stand on the right bank of the river Alájar, with stunning views of the valley and surrounding mountains. The chestnut wood used in the ceiling beams and windows, with honey-coloured tones, together with the reddish colour of the handmade tiles, flood the rooms with a warm and soft luminosity. La Tortuga has been extended and completely renovated. The entrance door opens into a vestibule with a view of an inner courtyard. To the right is the spacious living room with fireplace, underfloor central heating and kitchen. A large window overlooks the lawned area and the hills in the background. The master bedroom has a double bed and a beautiful sea-green bathroom. The second bedroom has three single beds and an en-suite bathroom. As with all the houses, the terrace provides the opportunity for al fresco dining whilst enjoying the unique aromas of the mountains.
