Villa Galera, Son Bou

We arrived just as the cleaners were leaving the property but they were happy for us to gain access early. The accommodation was ideal for our 3 generation family. There were magnificent views over the bay, but the property and it’s garden are not overlooked. The kids loved the pool, with inflatables already there for them. The 5 minute walk to the local supermarket and wonderful bakery was easy. The beach, restaurants and more shops were a 15 minute walk. Although the beach was crowded, we found some space. Ideal shallow warm water for young children to play in and not too rough. We had hot sunny weather for the most part, although there were thunder storms on our last two days. Biblical quantities of rain on Thursday 15 August 2024. A hire car enabled us to visit other towns where we enjoyed fish meals and sight seeing, including the horse festival in Alaoir.
