I tried to reserve a room by the palace theater in New York and Expedia told me this hotel was 2 minutes away and it was 2 HOURS away! So i had to pay to stay in another hotel AND this one when we never checked in!

Paid for a suite weeks ago, drove 4 hours, show up and their parking lot is ripped out. They told me I have to park in municipal parking across the way and pay for it myself because they don’t own the lot. 3 pm and the room wasn’t ready. They tried to down grade me to a king for the same price and said they were short staffed. I waited. Finally said room was ready so we went up and there is poop stuck on the inside of the toilet. The toilet paper holder is hanging off the wall. no one has cleaned under the bed in months. The whole thing was a disgusting disaster. I barely stayed in the room other than sleep. They lured me in with a good price and a high rating. An honest rating should be 3 out of 10. I won’t be back. Ps, You might want to check the gas leak by the back (now main) entrance instead of just putting up no smoking signs because of the smell.

Love the design of the room. We had a king bed with a lovely sofa area that was also a sofa-bed. Useful hooks all around, quiet fan, walk in shower. Nice welcoming staff at the front desk and also during breakfast. Good variety of food. Very efficient and well organized. Elevator seemed a little slow but it was okay (we were on the 4th floor). Wish the parking was free though, but the location was convenient. Overall great stay. We would love to stay there again!
