Stay in Alcudia

Firstly, the location is excellent, well situated for all Alcudia amenities and with a super sea view. Alcudia is a busy resort, but the apartment is not affected by noise. The good air con means windows dont need to be open. The pool is nice and big and didnt get overly busy and the beach is on your doorstep. However, we do feel like the apartment (considering the price we paid) would benefit from some updating as it looks a little tired. In particular, the bathroom and separate toilet are probably 25 years old and are incredibly small. We feel that this could be knocked through and a bigger space be created.The mattresses are also very thin and not that comfortable. The lounge furniture is also small with only 3 real seating spaces. The television reception is poor and the tv itself could do with changing to a more modern one. The table on the balcony is also really old and wobbly (our 5 year old twice knocked drinks over on it just by gently nudging the table.) This apartment could be really good, if the owners were prepared to spend some money on it, but it seems they are happy to take the money for it in its current state.
