A beautiful hotel in an easy to reach location. Really impressed with the facilities. Good service. Room was perfect. Would love to stay here again.

We had a very nice experience at The Gainsbourg in Bath. The hotel is beautiful and renovated with good taste for moderna design though keeping the old historical building at it's best. Great location just a few steps from Román Baths, Cathedral and Putneu bridge makes a perfect match to enjoy the city and relax at the spa pools after a day of sightseeing. Would come back for sure and will book some of the other hotels around the World from the same company. Thanks a million to help as enjoy Bath!

My family of 5 had two rooms, one a family suite that was very comfortable for the couple and one 11-year-old, and a twin bed room. The manager allowed us to store our 7 bags of luggage in a secure space upon our early arrival, allowing us to explore the city. Breakfast was excellent with many places to sit. Those sausages were especially yummy, as was the variety of food overall. The front desk made an extra effort to rectify a misunderstanding of the need for twin bedroom for my granddaughter and me, finding just what we needed without making me feel that I had misunderstood what I had reserved. The location in city centre not far from the train or shops or restaurants was just what we needed. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was modern and clean. The only issue in the bathroom was difficulty for us in regulating shower temperature--perhaps a sign with instructions could be posted. Every staff person with whom I interacted was so kind and helpful. One even provided a map with clear directions to the train. Overall, the experience for our 2 nights in Bath at the Hampton by Hilton Bath City was unequivocally positive. I recommend wholeheartedly.

I wish I could have stayed longer. It was a great place to stay and very comfortable. The front desk had the nicest people, and I slept well.

wonderful staff and great service

From when booked the Bristol hotel it was brilliant the reason for trip was present from my partner as had brought tickets for show for my birthday in January the was not till June hence the booking on arrival at the hotel was beautiful clean and smelt amazing the reception staff where very friendly and smiling which was so lovely to see Nachos assistant manager was fantastic very friendly and helpful welcome checked bags in the room was not quite ready but that was us as we had arrived early so we could have walk about Nachos was so lovely took our bags labelled nachos asked what plans we had for our stay explained this was for my 60;th birthday present the show as my birthday in January we went for walk around arrived back hotel Nachos was on desk said our room was ready had upgraded it which so amazing on arrival at the room it was beautiful everything again so clean and smelt beautiful had lovely note eith plate with happy birthday on it and beautiful bottle of prosecco I was overwhelmed we went fir drinks at the bar again the staff where friendly and helpful had bar meal it was amazing my partner had booked for Saturday at the riverside restaurant the food was outstanding and service brilliant will differently be back was amazing time
