Compare Ski Hotels in Alto

I don’t know if I just got the bad room or what experience the others have had that it was rated so high. I got a suite and decided on the first floor. The room is ok. The balcony is unusable due to the buildup of bird poop (not a couple days worth). The room and TVs are old and need updating. The AC unit in the room was so loud you had to choose between running it and sleeping. The bed was way too firm (opinion). Our sheets had stains on them when we got there. The breakfast that everyone raved about was just a hotel breakfast. Luke warm sausage and eggs. Basic stuff and an ok hotel but definitely not worth $200 a night.

Really nice place to stay to see Ruidoso. Rustic but modern/maintained where it matters. Wish we stayed more than one night, and we definitely want to come back!

Great property and location. Comfortable bed and good size room. My only complaint would be the shower drained slow but didn’t ruin the experience.

From the photos we thought it was going to be individual cabins not a building with all the rooms connected. But still extremely happy with our visit. Would absolutely stay there again.
