We thought it would be a private beach rather than shared with the public. It was gated for us to enter and exit the beach area but it was shared with the public and hotel next door which meant it was generally very busy.
The kitchen in our room was not a full kitchen. It lacked many useful appliances, such as a toaster and utensils were bare minimal for cooking. Odd numbers of glasses and tiny cups.
The food options in the restaurants on site were limited and had restricted times for certain items. One night we wanted to order a burger and we were told we could only order that item from room service, which seemed odd when we ordered it at the restaurant another night. Once we ordered it from our rooms it arrived cold, and missing some of the items of the dish. With the price of the food we would have expected better all round. We avoided eating there again after this.
Dorieann and Clare at the front desk were most helpful with our requests and understanding and we wanted to mention these two ladies as they went that extra mile to help and communicate with us.
This resort could have so much more potential, it's a beautiful location, the rooms are a great size and it is clean and modern. The swimming pool has a lovely view, but disappointing the pool bar was closed and no reason given. We were on our honeymoon and we would have loved the perfect accommodation to spend it at, generally we had a great time but those points mentioned above lowered the rating for us.
