Good atmosphere, great friendly staff. Met with Martin the owner very welcoming. Anything you need they will assist. Great and delicious breakfast so it is worth it to add it when you book the hotel. Great stores just around the corner. Overall we really enjoy our stay and definitely would stay again on our next trip to Amsterdam.

Staff were very excellent. Check in was very easy; they allowed us an early checkin unlike any other hotels. Location is simply outstanding bang on the channel; close to transit systems; all restaurants around and walkable to Museums, Central station and shopping areas.

The first room that they put me into smelled weird so I asked for a new room and I got one without carpet and that was much better! The parking is a few blocks away and it’s like €50 for valet. This location is great. I could walk up to the Anne Frank house and all around town.

Absolutely wonderful! We were in room 108 overlooking the canal. Our room was very spacious and impeccably clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. We are friends traveling together and it was no problem for them to separate the king bed into 2 twins. The bathroom was also spacious with necessary amenities and a make-up mirror. There are a plethora of restaurants nearby. There is a tram stop just a few steps away. We enjoyed watching the boat tours on the canal from our window. I would most definitely stay here again!

This property is at the intersection of the Prinzengracht, which is very beautiful, and the Leidsestraat, which is a main artery connecting to Leidseplein, which is a major tourist and party venue, so it can be noisy well into the small hours. Great if you want to party until the wee hours; less so if you want to sleep. (I may not help that we stayed there during the university orientation week.) The hotel facilities were all good except the plumbing appears old, so the water temperature coming out of the shower is irregular, unpredicatable and difficult to regulate.
