Nice place to stay in the heart of Amsterdam

Employees were great. Rooms were pretty clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was that the show stall was missing a door and the bathroom got completely soaked when we would shower. Also, the showers were confusing and when I tried to adjust the temperature, it was scalding hot and burned my skin.

The property was an excellent location and comfy bed. The room however is really small especially for 2 people with suitcases. The shower also had a swinging door which attached to nothing so all the water just puddled next to the sink.

We booked this hotel as it is close to the station amongst other tourist locations. We booked a room with the king bed. Turned up at the hotel to check in, turns out cot bed was not ready and we had to stay in a room that sleeps 6. We slept on separate beds and also had to carry the pram up a few steps. We had to then check out of this room the following morning and check into another room which was actually our room with a king bed. Previous night, the man at reception said there are no king beds. This was a slight nuisance to the trip but staff on the second day were helpful and let us check in straight away into the actual room rather than waiting until 3pm. Would’ve been nice to have the room we booked from the first night so we didn’t have to pack up, check out and then check in again all with a baby. Great facilities and location otherwise, which was convenient and decently priced! Lot of restaurants and shops closeby, all walking distance. We managed to walk to almost all the sights we wanted to see with a pram!

The check-in staff were excellent. I had two different reservations and they allowed me to stay in one room for the 3 nights I am here. They were very friendly and extremely accommodating. It because of the great very friendly staff that I always stay here when I visit Amsterdam.

Room was not as described, bed topper kept sliding off bed, shower leaked onTo the bathroom floor ( huge fall risk)and twice all of our key card were deactivated bed was to be a king and it was a double. And for a deluxe room our view was.the roof and the vent,skylights to their offices. The only towel in the room were the bath mat and a hamd towel. For this to be a deluxe room not sure what tjey are comparing it to. We were also charged twice for the room.

The check in was easy, we paid €5 to check in early, the room was very small but clean and up together. The air conditioning didn’t work properly, it was so hot in our room! Bathroom was cramped and everytime you had a shower it flooded the bathroom. We looked right into someone’s kitchen so had to keep our curtains closed the whole stay. Breakfast was poor, it was advertised as ‘full English’ but definitely wasn’t, I also witnessed a member of staff filling up the cereal dispensers with her bare hands whilst popping a few bits of granola in her mouth as she went, she also cleared up the dropped cereals from the worktop and popped them back in the dispenser! I paid however much it was for breakfast to have 2 pieces of toast every morning. Staff were friendly and helpful. Aside from the negatives this hotel is clean and in a great location to see the city, it is around a 5-10 min walk from Amsterdam central station, close to many attractions within walking distance. Great city to visit!
