Glorified hostel

The staff was lovely. Arguably the best thing about this hotel. We were served complimentary coffee and received great tips for were to get a stroopwaffle. But the room left much to be desired and was a far cry from the photos shown in the website. There was thick dust under the beds, mold on many of the bathroom tiles as there is no ventilation in the toilet. The bathroom sink was clogged and slow to drain, coffee maker broken, scuffs and marks on the wall and an overgrown courtyard out the window with visible junk off to the side. Manual press elevator, and the TV requires you sign into a streaming service or there is no media. No greeter or bellman to assist with luggage. Quick flight of stairs to the top where there is a key pad for entry which is good for safely. The quietness of the hotel and neighborhood was perfect. It’s quite walkable to the desirable neighborhoods in the city and right by a beautiful park. Location suburb. Ambiance, cleanliness, and amenities, pretty bottom of the barrel. Overall I would not recommend staying here until you have no other options

Loved that they didn’t service the room unless you gave 24 hours notice. Very convenient location Didn’t like that they sent a code to my aus email when I was using an eSIM which I needed to enter building. Couldn’t watch tv as I didn’t have google cast

We liked the location in the Museum District and being next door to Vonder Park was lovely. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Complimentary Barista service was exceptional. WIFI was provided and worked well. Self serve extra towels and toiletries were provided. Room cleaning was available, but upon request only. Our negative comments are that the room safe was not bolted down (so not usable), and there was no TV services provided.

Very nice staff, delicious espresso bar drinks in the morning. The shower was weird, and we flooded the bathroom. Our room was very small but cute. The mattress was dipped in the middle. But the people were super nice so somehow it didn't bother me!

I had to leave this hotel within 20 minutes of checking in. The room was absolutely filthy - thick dust everywhere, a disgusting smell, and it clearly had not been cleaned properly in a long time. As we checked in they said they have no room cleaning. The bed didn't even have a real mattress, just a thin mattress topper. When I brought this to the staff's attention, they were completely unhelpful and refused to give me a refund, even though I didn't stay. This place is completely unhygienic and unsafe. Do not stay here. Spend your money somewhere that actually cares about cleanliness and its guests.

I loved the proximity to Vondelpark and the Rijks, Van Gogh, and Stedelijk museums! Also easy walk to Leidesplein, Jordaan, and Prinsengracht! Truly a perfect location and a safe hotel with everything you need.

Hotel was really nice in a great location, close to transport and amenities. It felt very safe with a code entry system and a 24 hour reception desk. The room was clean and I was as upgraded from the single to double room which was spacious for the city. The property is a little run down, with some plaster on the ceiling cracking and scuffs on the wall but overall a great hotel.
