Loved our stay at Wittenberg. The apartment was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we need to accommodate our toddler. The location was pretty near to the centre but far away enough from the noise. Requesting for things were easy and response time was good. We recommend this apartment style hotel!

We stayed here for a week and the place is very clean. Walking distance to the tram station. People at the front desk were very polite and helpful.

Location is great, very walkable but also close to multiple public transportation options. Property was not as clean as I would’ve expected; there were marks on beddings and some towels, spider webs everywhere, marks in the shower and hair in drawers. They did take the trash daily which was good. Property description wasn’t accurate, there wasn’t any soap in the shower. They also didn’t provide enough toilet paper for the stay so I had to shop a couple of times. Overall it was bearable given its location but I wouldn’t recommend it if you have other options.

Really great place to stay let down by the most uncomfortable bed I have slept in at any hotel / apartment. The pillows in particular were cheap rubbish and I would up with a sore neck and back every day. Lovely apartment in a great location. The living room was set out more for style than comfort. Would have been great to have a separate TV as a family also. In walking distance of the center or a tram. Lovely area.

Love the property in a quiet residential area but not too far from the main attractions. It is a historical building but got redesigned and upgraded with amenities. The room has high ceiling and very spacious. The front yard are well maintained and outdoor table and chairs in the courtyard to enjoy. The washer/dryer is great. We have enjoyed our stay.

Great room for families!

We paid for one room that turned out to be a two-bedroom, two-bath, plus kitchen, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, and more! They provided coffee pods, laundry soap, and great service. We were in the top floor (fourth) and had to keep ducking under the roof beams; we bumped our heads a few times, and we had to walk up a very narrow flight of stairs since the elevator only went up to the third floor. Otherwise, the room was perfect!

Buyer beware! Pre-paid a week, arrived at 1:30 pm and was told that check in is 4:00 pm, but could pay $30 to check in early or to come back at 3:30. We came back, and was given a different room than paid for, 2 stories with kitchen and bath down and bedroom up steep, narrow stairs, we complained, were asked to show our reservation and then was assigned a basement studio-one level that looked similar to the reservation photo. We were told that it was the “last one”. It had windows. It was clean and quiet. Several minute walk to tram. Unable to control room temperature, but there was a portable fan. I would not go back there.

The property is located near several universities. Lots of people around and lots of bicycles. Bikers did not seem to pay attention to people crossing streets. I reserved 2 studio apartments with king beds. my room was updated to a large room, while the other room was a studio (?) on the fourth floor with 8 inch beams crossing through the room, including the bathroom. Very difficult for a 6'3" gentleman.

It was great to have a kitchen especially at breakfast. Trams were nearby for reaching, metro, center and museums. Also great to have w/d though dryer did not work very well. Know that you will not have housekeeping unless you pay extra. You will need to buy your own espresso pods. Hotel is directly on a canal with a lovely view and quiet neighborhood. Far better than being in the really touristy areas.

This hotel/apartments was spotless, rooms modern and comfortable, the staff excellent, the location quiet yet right on the edge of where you want to go in Amsterdam. I loved the What's App communication with staff, so easy to ask questions or make requests. I loved the kitchen space included with the room. We had a canal view room, which was also lovely. Will stay there again.

This is a gorgeous property and comfortable. I was alone and felt safe on the property, walking around the neighborhood, and in general enjoyed the room/apartment. The fridge is cold and has a smaller freezer which was needed. The staff were immediately responsive, helpful, and always happy and polite. This made my stay in Amsterdam a joy! I liked being in my room!

Good location but expensive

Excellent location walkable to most tourist sites or handy for the tram if you don’t like walking. Nice quiet location, we had a room overlooking the small garden. Comfortable clean room basic furniture, could have benefitted from a microwave. They say you can get Netflix etc by linking your phone but we couldn’t manage it and neither could the engineer who tried to assist us, seems there is a subscription to be paid. Very limited welcome pack with few teabags and a couple of small milk cartons. We could hear the upstairs guests moving around quite loudly which was annoying. Our window awning ripped with the wind whilst we were there, it had been repaired once and was repaired again but very make shift repair that won’t last long.

Absolutely loved Wittenberg by Cove! It provides a home-like feel with a kitchen, washer/dryer combo, dining area, living room, and separate sleeping area. We had a 1 bedroom mezzanine apartment! Stunning!
