We had a delightful stay at the Tivoli in Amsterdam. The staff was extremely gracious during our entire stay. The room and our view of the canal from our balcony was spectacular. It is close walking distance to many popular spots. The breakfast was amazing! Highly recommend this hotel. We look forward to returning!

We had a great stay at Tivoli. The staff were extremely welcoming upon arrival and the doorman upon entry and exit was always smiling and greeted us. The room although small (most European hotel rooms are) was clean and cozy. Loved the fual shower heads (best part of the room id say!). We didn't eat at the restaurant, but the food looked good from what I saw. I do not like that the hotel did not have a gym (esp for the price of the room). Their sister hotel down the road did which was small. I also didnt like that if you wanted to ride the bikes that was an additional cost. For the price it should've been included. I do think its a little on the pricey side for what the hotel offered and although really nice probably wouldnt stay again based on the rate.

I would consider this to be more of a boutique hotel. The room was tiny and the bathroom was really, really small and in need of a bit of repair (for instance the shower leaked water not only into the bathroom but also into the bedroom carpet). The view was amazing as well as the balcony which overlooked the canal. The food was fantastic. The location was within a 5 to 20 minute walk of everything a tourist would want to see. The staff were nice enough, but not really efficient. Our room was not ready until 45 minutes after the check-in time. Things like email and phone were missing during the check in process so it was entered, but missing again during check out. We were leaving early on check out so asked that snacks from the breakfast be put into a box which the front desk attendant said would be ready for us the next day. When we went to check out and ask it for, there was no record of the request. It was small things like this that were kind of a pain. However, you cannot beat the location...and did I mention the food was spectacular!

A Truly Exceptional Stay Our stay at Tivoli Doelen was nothing short of delightful. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, offering the kind of restful sleep you hope for but rarely find while traveling. The balcony overlooking the canal was a highlight of our visit. A picture-perfect spot where we spent many moments simply enjoying the view and fresh air. The room itself was immaculate, with tasteful, well-appointed décor that created an atmosphere of quiet luxury. Every detail felt intentional. The staff was gracious and attentive, consistently checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. The hotel’s location was truly prime, offering effortless access to the best of Amsterdam. A truly memorable stay, and we would return without hesitation.

If you are traveling to Amsterdam and want to experience a 5 star hotel Tivoli Doelen Hotel is for you. Less than a 30 minute drive from the airport. Located right on one of the canals in Amsterdam. There is not a negative thing about this hotel. From the moment you step into the hotel you are treated like family. Every staff member treated us as if we were the only guests. The food is outstanding. Every course for dinner was wonderful from taste to presentation. The breakfast buffet once again will not disappoint. It is centrally located and very easy to walk to experience the town. Do yourself a favor and consider this hotel if you are traveling to Amsterdam.
