Situated on the banks along a main body of Lake Hartwell, this new, three story, 6 bed / 5 bath, luxury home is an ideal venue for hosting large family gatherings, special celebration events, corporate offsite meetings, or just-for-fun times on the very beautiful South Carolina shores of Lake Hartwell. It features 2 full kitchens on both the 1st and 2nd levels, and an additional outdoor patio kitchen for all your gilling and lakeside needs! The newly finished third floor now features a full size ping pong table and two arcade cabinets in addition to the two bunk beds.

Upon arriving at the house you will notice this amazing new 4,200 square feet home constructed in May 2021 consisting of 6 bedrooms & 5 bathrooms. As you enter the front door and walk through the foyer, you will be greeted with a spectacular view (.7 miles) of Lake Hartwell from the great room and open kitchen. The great room features over 300 sq feet of glass and 18' ceilings. The great room itself is an entertainment destination with a Sony 85" Smart television. This is a wonderful place to unplug, relax and enjoy the gas log fireplace in the cooler months.

The kitchen has a double oven, all the modern appliances, coffee bar and seating for 20 which is accessible for large gatherings. The main floor consists of a master bedroom, with bathroom featuring a walk-in shower and closet, a guest room with bathroom, an office and laundry room with washer and dryer.

Walking onto the 12’x52’ deck, you notice it has a see-through rail system which gives you an unobstructed view of the lake. This is a great spot for entertaining family and friends as well as relaxing on the comfortable patio furniture. There is over 400 sq ft of glass on the back deck.

As you walk downstairs you will see another full kitchen, a double oven, modern appliances and ice machine. This lower level also has the Sony 85" Smart Television which is great for watching ball games or movies. On this level you have 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a safety shelter room, and a laundry room complete with a washer and dryer. You will also enjoy another view of the lake from the 24 feet of glass doors & windows.

When stepping onto the patio, you will notice a state-of-the-art Outdoor Kitchen. It features a 34' Blaze propane grill, 24" Power Burner for the Low County Boil & a MasterBuilt Digital Electric smoker. The outdoor kitchen contains a sink and refrigerator and seating for 14 people. There is a 65" Smart television for movie watching or sporting events. The backyard features AstroTurf that is weatherproof and perfect for outdoor fun and games. You can also relax by the firepit and watch all the wildlife that is within view.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned vacation home, which features a fireplace and a Smart TV. There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected.

We could not have asked for a better home or better hosts for our vacation! Gary and his son Brian were incredible with any and all questions we had prior to arrival and throughout the trip. Having the jet skis right there on the property to rent made for super easy fun for everyone!There us so much space in this house for people to spread out and sleep. There was also plenty of space for all of our vehicles to include our boat trailer.The kitchen is extremely well stocked with plenty of appliances and dishes to accommodate large groups.We had 20 people in our group and never felt cramped. We will definitely be booking this house again next year!Thank you, Gary and Brian For making our trip absolutely amazing!

Wonderful house

We loved staying at Hartwell Landing! The house was plenty big for 15 of us, ages 5-74. Each of the 4 families had their own bathroom, with one to spare, when someone got impatient. The ping pong table was a real plus, kids and adults all took their turns, and there was just a bit of competition. The best part was the dock and location on the water. We had a couple of good sailing days on our 18ft Hobie sailboat, it was easy to get out on the main body of the lake. The grandchildren loved our paddleboard and mini kayak, as well as the two paddle boards included with the house. They paddled across to the campground and checked out that beach. Our 16 yr old swimmer and her dad swam across to the beach and back, great open water practice. The younger ones could be in the water all day long, floating with their life jackets and diving to gather shells.The house was well supplied, as others have written about, plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, cascade, spices, even parchment paper.As one can tell, we loved our stay at Hartwell Landing.

Family vacation

This is an ideal property for a multigenerational family vacation. We had 10 individuals ranging in age from 5 to 73. There is plenty of room and the lake location is ideal. We had a great time and hope to rent it again.

This is our second stay at Hartwell Landing! The house is beautiful with two full kitchens, making our meal preparations for 22 guests much easier. They have an outdoor grill and smoker that we were able to enjoy this trip. They also have a pontoon boat and/or jet skis available to rent separately. Our group loved the spacious deck, walking out onto the beach into the water, the paddle boards, the pontoon boat, and the lakefront firepit. The kids (and adults) liked the upstairs game room with ping-pong and video games. The owners are great, very easy to work with and flexible! They answered our questions about using the smoker and pontoon boat. Also, they worked with us to allow for early check-in, since we had people coming from 5 different households. The house is spacious, clean, and they have anticipated many guest needs (like first aid kit, extra lake towels, shampoo/conditioner, etc). My whole family said multiple times how beautiful the house and views are. We would absolutely love staying here again in the future for our family reunions, assuming it's available! Perfect for large family and gathering

I have stayed at many vacation rentals and this place has been my favorite. We booked this place for my daughter’s graduation weekend get together for out of town family visiting. The host is very accommodating and responsive with anything needed. Many vacation homes come equipped with the bare minimum and gives you enough to last probably 1 or 2 days. But this host goes above it and makes sure you really don’t need to go get anything extra. But as experienced renters we were prepared for all the extras we needed for our stay. It was the peace of mind knowing had we were to ran out of things we didn’t have to worry about necessities like toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags.The home was clean , fully equipped with extra towels and blankets. This place even had exta light blankets for the sofa for sitting on the sofa to watch a movie. The pictures don't speak well enough for this place. You have to see in person. Plenty of room and space to entertain the a large family with kids. 2 separate full kitchens was a great addition to our stay as well. Thank you Gary Morris for a very memorable weekend.

Amazing!

My family does a reunion every year and this was the nicest house we have ever rented! The house is gorgeous, clean, and well-stocked. The owners have thought of everything-- plenty of toiletries, dishes, spices, towels, etc. It was clean and nicely decorated. It has a bonus game room upstairs with arcade games and ping pong that the kids enjoyed. The three levels gave the kids room to run and play, even though we had some rain. There were great indoor and outdoor seating options on the deck, covered patio, and dock. The main level had so much natural light and a beautiful view of the trees/lake from the wall of windows. Two full indoor kitchens plus an amazing outdoor kitchen/grill area made cooking so easy! They even had a pontoon boat available for us to rent separately, which was a convenient surprise! Unfortunately, we didn't have time for a campfire on the lake this visit. We did not have any issues during our stay, but the owners were very reasonable and available to answer questions/concerns. They also worked with us to allow early check-in since we were trying to coordinate the arrival of 5 different families. This is a great rental and I hope we can stay here again in the future!

Our Last TBF High School Natl Championships

This was a wonderful property. Words can't describe how perfect this property was for the purpose of our stay, the number of people, the age ranges, the amenities... The property was close (enough) to Green Pond Landing. This was our 4th summer @ Hartwell and this was the closest we've managed to stay. There was plenty of room to park the boat in the garage--wenusually have no access to the garage, or we have to park diagonally in a standard garage. We had 8 people, ages 13 to 84. 2 bedrooms--with bathrooms--on the main floor meant no stairs for older guests. The *walk-out* basement--which means bright & airy, not dark & dreary--offfered some privacy for thise not on tournament hours. Our high school anglers stayed upstairs, which meant even more distance for early mornings & early evenings. The photos absolutely reflect reality...no funny angles or depth tricks. The rooms were so spacious. The kitchen was stocked with "standards" and the open kitchen and plumbed grill made cooking for an extended crowd easy-peasy. If this matters to you, just know that this home is covered by God's words all around. The location and views were simply breathtaking but walking around the backyard and path to the lake, seeing verses etched into the concrete, was just a blessing to us. The boys' final high school fishing trip felt protected and there were reminders everywhere of grace and gratitude. We are so very thankful to the Morris family for making our stay so very special.

Great spot for a family or friends get together!

We had a great time at lake hartwell. The house is great, with lots of room and an amazing outdoor barbeque, smoker, cornhole area equipped with a TV. It was great for watching opening weekend of college football!

We just returned from our family celebration at Hartwell Landing, and I can not say enough wonderful things about it. Such a beautiful home that actually is so much nicer than the pictures suggest. Spotlessly clean throughout, and just stunningly decorated. Plus Gary is the nicest and most attentive host. He meet us upon arrival and explained ever detail of his wonderful home. He was always just a text away from any questions we had and was quick to respond. Do yourself a favor and rent the pontoon boat and jet skis to take fully advantage of the lake. They really completed our family’s enjoyment of Lake Hartwell. Our vacation was truly a five star experience in this stunning home. Thank You Gary for sharing it with us. We made lasting memories there.

Fun 80th Birthday Party / Family Reunion

We had a great long weekend celebrating and enjoying the lake. The house was clean, well equipped and spacious. The dock was enjoyable and the kayaks and paddle boards made for a fun time for the kids. Overall a great experience. Gary did a great job of communicating, even sharing that the internet was out due to a storm. We barley noticed as it was back in a few hours later.

Great family reunion house

Fantastic Home!!!

We were so happy to have found this house. As many previous renters have shared, it was the best stocked home I've ever stayed in. Plenty of cookware, glassware, linens, cleaning supplies, toilet paper and paper towels, coffee, an ice machine with bags, etc etc etc!!! We only brought folding chairs and beach towels. The owner was extremely responsive, thorough, and helpful before and during our stay. We all talked about coming back because the house and location on the lake were perfect. We loved using the corn hole boards, kayaks and paddleboards too. 5 stars!!!

Perfect vacation home for large group

We loved the home. It was 13 of us this year for July 4th weekend. The home was perfect. With two full kitchens up and downstairs we could enjoy both levels with the entire family. Sleeping arrangements were comfortable. The house is in impeccable condition. When the third level is complete this home will be a must and repeat stay. The second level deck area and the outside kitchen area are awesome. Floating in the lake was great and we also used the pontoon and wave runner. The property rocks. The owners are wonderful people. Very thorough and a pleasure to have done business with. They are extremely responsive and took the time to show us through the house. Mr. Morris and his son Brian are awesome. There isn’t much to do around the area. So we did venture to Greenville. But the lake and just spending time at the home was more than enough fun.

Wonderul House

As a large family group, it was hard to find a house that suited our needs - big gathering areas, lots of individual bedrooms, and nice amenities. There are only a handful of those in the Anderson/Clemson area, and Hartwell Landing is THE one! The owner was very communicative, easily accessible, and answered questions thoroughly. Even as he was preparing his own house for a Hurricane, he reached out to us to confirm our stay. The house has great space, tons of natural light overlooking the back and the lake, and was super comfortable for the 12 of us to stay there. Definitively a great house which deserves the respect of anyone who is staying there.

Amazing house amazing time

Family reunion of sorts. Host was absolutely great. Very accommodating . Was able to use jet skis and pontoon boat. Really didn’t need to bring anything . Very well stocked. Bought food and that was it. The house was gorgeous. Games, floats, lots of fun. Highly recommended.

Perfect getaway spot

This home worked for our family perfectly. We had our family reunion at this home and there was plenty of space for everyone. The beds were very comfy and the kids loved the huge sofas. We used both kitchens equally and there was plenty of parking for all our cars. Gary the owner was very responsive. Hartwell Lake was beautiful. The kids loved using the kayaks and paddleboards that were provided. We would come back here again.
