First, Anna Maria Island is broken up into 3 cities, Anna Maria, Holmes Beach and Bradenton Beach. The City of Anna Maria is the most northern part of the Island and the most popular. When searching for Beach front rentals, be careful. A standard search of VRBO will Show 300 plus listings. Only a fraction of these are actually in the city of Anna Maria, and even less are actually ON the Beach. Many will be, steps to beach, blocks to beach, or beach view, or beach area and on and on. Make sure you actually select beach when doing your search. Then make sure you zoom in on the map to see which ones are "ACTUALLY' ON THE BEACH. There aren't many, but MINE IS!!!!! I can't tell you how many people say they were mislead by this type of description and ended up blocks from the beach.
Anna Maria and it's "Old Florida Charm" will sweep you away. With breathtaking sugar white sand, emerald water and some of the most incredible sunsets and sunrises in the world, its no wonder you are looking us over. If you're looking for a new 3 or 4 story brand new concrete home with all the latest and greatest, this is NOT your place. This is an "Old Florida" beach home. That's the reason people come to Anna Maria, we are mostly "old Florida". Please review pictures closely to see what you get. If you're going to sit inside all day and look at the walls and marvel at the granite counter tops and how modern the place is, your wasting your vacation. What's more important, looking at the new modern place your staying at, or spending your time on the beach fishing or watching Dolphin's and Manatee's and incredible Sea Birds and our beautiful Island? Direct beach front with the water is less than 50 foot to your bedroom!
Our family has lived on this Island for 40 years and visited way before that.
From the first cup of coffee watching the sunrise in the morning to the margarita as the sun goes down, you won't be disappointed. Please note, this is an elevated home as required for all new homes built after the mid 1970's by Anna Maria City regulations. There are stairs from the ground level to the living second floor and ALL guest must be physically capable of climbing stairs.
Why not spend your vacation at my home and truly enjoy Anna Maria!!
Please Note: the entire west coast of Florida suffered several Hurricanes in 2024 causing lots of beach movement and storm damage. My home was spared major damage and we are currently booking for 2025 and 2026. Thank You!!!

Beautiful View and Location

We stayed at Angel’s Envy and it was our first time on Anna Maria Island. We loved the charm of the island and the location of the house. What a view! We watched the sunrise every morning and saw dolphins every day. The house was newly renovated and fit our family perfectly. Between the house and backyard it had everything we needed and there were days that we skipped the beach to hang out on the bay. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials needed and we were able to cook many of our meals. Would definitely like to come back to stay. Joe was a very gracious host.

Great spot

We really enjoyed this house, it had everything we needed and more. The owner was very responsive. Close to everything! The dolphin watching off the deck was the best. The house could use a full length mirror for the ladies getting ready. Lol. But all, in all it was a great place to stay, very homey.

Perfect Getaway

We stayed March 16-28. Had a wonderful time. Joe is very responsive and communicative. The island is super crowded during March, but we were able to navigate through the traffic jams. We enjoyed sitting on the upper deck and watch the sunrise and then watch the dolphins in the evenings.

Absolutely perfect

This place is nicer than I expected. Very comfortable peaceful home with perfect location. I walked bean point every morning to find whole sand dollars. The dolphins play continuously out front and they came very close to me while paddle boarding. Comfortable beds and the kitchen has everything we needed. We actually never went out to eat. Thank you Joe! .

180 degree view of the water

We were favorably impressed when we entered the house and saw the set up of the house and the amazing view of the water right in front.We enjoyed the morning sunrises from the porch, and frequently walked to nearby Bean point beach to see spectacular sunsets.Joe was a very responsive host, handled everything quickly.He responded to all of our questions within minutes.The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We could walk to.several restaurants and others were just a short drive away. We’d love to stay there again!

WONDERFUL

We were booked during tropical stormy Debby. The host kept us updated on the latest weather forecast. We did leave the house for 2 days due to island flooding but the host had a clean up crew there quickly to get us back in quickly. The view from the home was amazing. We watched dolphins and manatees play every day. 5 stars all the way!!!!!!

We enjoyed Joe’s place so much! He was so prompt and helpful with communication and any questions we had. The house is old Florida charm, very clean, and great location! A SLICE OF HEAVEN!!

I LOVE IT HERE!! I’ve been to Anna Maria 16 times, and this was the absolute best trip we’ve ever had, and it’s all because of the location of this beach house! First, the location is perfect because it’s near the northern tip of the island and near Bean Point, which is more private than other areas. It’s the perfect place for sitting in the powdery soft white sand, and is the perfect place to watch a the breathtaking sunsets. This house also has the perfect location because it’s only 2 doors down from the Rod & Reel Pier. This makes it perfect for fishing. Additionally, it’s the perfect spot for seeing the sea life (dolphins, manatees, and stingrays). This beach house has the perfect covered porch so you’re not melting in that Florida sun, but can see right down into the crystal clear waters to see all of those sea creatures! (If you’re afraid of those things, you’re still fine, because they stay a safe distance from you, but if you want to see them, you’re close enough for a good picture!) Another bonus to this location is that you can watch the remarkable sunrises right from the porch, or even from the comfort of the couch! Kitchen has everything you need, beds are comfy, 2 bathrooms, but that view is what makes it a slice of heaven for me! I can’t say enough wonderful things about this home. It truly is the only place on the whole island where I want to stay!!

Perfect girls trip

This property is fantastic. It really is a home away from home. It is located on the north end of the island. The closest trolly stop is at the Anna Maria City Pier and quite a walk from the property. I really recommend a car or golf cart if you plan to get out and see the island. Joe was a wonderful host and kept in touch to make sure everything was ok. My only complaint is that the pictures being used to advertise the outside of the home are not up to date. Due to Mother Nature there is no longer a beach as depicted in the photo taken of the house from the Rod and Reel Pier. The pictures need to be updated and or the beach issue be addressed in the description of the property so renters have correct information when making a decision on where to stay. Again thank you Joe for sharing your home with us. We had a wonderful time.

Great views

Loved sitting on the second-floor balcony and watching the various wildlife. Nice quiet area with basically your own beach. We swam every day and felt very safe. Nightly walks to Bean Point to enjoy the sunset. Highly recommended. Thank you, Joe.

Cozy beach vibe perfection!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful this property is!! The house is comfortable, feels like home, and has newer kitchen appliances. The deck has an amazing hammock with a million dollar view at any time. We had multiple dolphins, manatees, manta rays, starfish, and beautiful sunrises to enjoy the entire week. The sandy yard area had beautiful shells. Cozy lounge chairs, umbrellas, cornhole, floating tubes with anchors & a gas grill are just a few of the perfect amenities. Bean Point beach is within a short walking distance, has clear blue water with velvet sand, and is a must for the amazing sunsets. Joe is very hospitable and always only a phone call away if needed. We will definitely return! Best week ever!!

Perfect location and gorgeous views

We had a fantastic week at Joe’s house over our kids’ spring break. We love the north end of AMI where we are able to easily get around via foot, bike, or golf cart. Add the beautiful views from Joe’s house, along with the Rod and Reel pier and Bean Point just steps away, I can’t think of a better location on the island. The house suited all of our needs and came with plenty of amenities to keep us entertained. It was easy to communicate with Joe before and during the trip. Overall, it exceeded our expectations, and we would definitely stay at this house again when we next visit AMI.

Amazing and relaxing

We have stayed at this property before and absolutely love it! Location is priceless as you can observe wildlife from the deck or even while cooking! House has fun beach toys for kids which is a huge plus for a family. Joe (the owner) is fantastic and very responsive and helpful. House has an old Florida feel which we love and has an awesome outdoor space for eating and grilling. We loved our stay and will be back!

Anna Maria is a lovely island. Very casual and old Florida. Non-commercialized. Home is located right on the water. You will be able to watch the dolphins feed every day. About 3 blocks from bean point beach. Shells are abundant. Home is just the right size for 4. Home needs maintenance.

A Fisherman's Dream

On the morning sun side of AMI. Fishing pier two doors down. Unfortunately, since the photo of the home was taken, the entire beach has washed away. The steps take you into the water, not to the beach. The home has a great view of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge (in the distance). There is also a rear deck facing west, but there is no furniture on it. (We used it some to avoid wind coming from the east on a couple of days.) We had a hard time getting hot water out of the primary bedroom's shower, but the other shower worked perfectly, so it wasn't that big of a deal for us. All in all, this property met our needs pretty well. The owner/landlord was very available and eager to help and quite interested in our having a nice stay. Thanks, Joe.

Great Anna Maria location and view

This home away from home feeling makes you comfortable right away. And the spacious wrap around deck afforded us instant views of pelican & seabirds from the very start of our vacation. There were plenty of dolphins playing in the bay as well. It’s exciting to see so many pelicans diving and floating directly from our deck. We do some cooking while we vacation and this rental has an abundance of spices and good cookware to use. I was happy with the latest Keurig machine as well. I like that there are plenty of super clean, bright white towels of all sizes to use. The beds are very comfortable. I asked for king beds and those were provided. I was glad I didn’t have to bring my own hair dryer. One is provided for each bedroom. I believe you will be happy renting this property. Enjoy your stay! We did.

Have stayed in Bradenton before and it does not compare to this location. Close to everything but very quiet and peaceful. House was amazing - clean, well stocked with everything we needed in kitchen and bathrooms, ample parking. Strongly encourage you rent a golf cart, it makes the whole "island experience " even more fun. Don't think you can get closer to the water and watching the sunrise and dolphins was wonderful. Joe made the whole process seamless from booking to checkout. We had a hard time leaving. Thank you for a special time we will always remember. Brent and Elana
