Overall good and comfortable stay. The loft style makes it fun and airy even when the size of the room is small. Design is thoughtful. View from the windows is gorgeous. Also love the heated towel racks in both bathrooms. Breakfast, dinner, and the bakery are all delicious. The only thing is that the housekeepers don’t clean the drinking glasses. Luckily we have baby bottle detergent and brush with us so I can clean the glasses every day. You definitely need clean drinking glasses because they only offer two refillable water bottles so everyone has to share those bottles.

The hotel is beautiful inside and out. Our room and bathroom were nicely appointed, with space to move around and store our items. Loved the window that opened to enjoy the view of Lake Annecy and the mountains. The staff were friendly and helpful, and most spoke English well (as with anywhere in France, always start with "bonjour"). We arranged for a reserved parking space in their snug-but-manageable underground parking area. It is an easy 3-4 minute walk from the hotel to the main old town area. Will stay here again if we are fortunate enough to return!

Perfect visit

Wonderful stay at Le Pelican. The room was perfect and had a beautiful view and a balcony. Very comfortable bed. Kettle and coffee maker. Very nicely appointed with great lighting. Our floor had a water dispenser that poured cold, tap and mineral water. We were provided with glass bottles to fill and refill. The bakery in the lobby was wonderful. Even locals go there for bread/sweets and coffee. The staff was great very helpful. They arranged transportation to Geneva Airport for us. The weather was not great so we didn’t get to use the pool but it is a very nice area looking out on the lake. Don’t miss riding bikes around the lake.

Nice room with outdoor sitting space. Comfortable bed. Good location close to old city Annecy. Good breakfast on terrace overlooking the lake. Parking nearby is scarce so booking the underground parking at the hotel proved convenient, although ramp down is a bit tight.

Beautiful hotel with very good service

Wow - we have been traveling around Switzerland and France and this hotel is the best we have stayed in. The room was very comfortable ,beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Lovely bar and restaurant also. You can pre book parking in the underground car park which I would recommended as there are not many spaces .

Hôtel Pélican is Exceptional

We loved this hotel. I received personal messages from them confirming my stay and we were upgraded upon arrival. Front desk staff was exceptional at check in, and our room was outstanding. Spotless. We had a delicious dinner in the hotel after exploring all day. The pool was warm and also extremely clean. The view of the lake from the hotel is quite beautiful.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Pelican. A short walk from the old town, it was a modern take minutes from the lake. Our room was spacious and clean and we had a lovely lake view. The staff was incredibly attentive. The hotel breakfast was a 10/10, would highly recommend. If staying in Annecy and want to avoid the Old Town buzz, Le Pelican is your place to go!

The family room was amazing, with a mezzanine and separate bathroom for our child. It's very close to town. The staff were very nice. The food was medicore, but there are many other dining options nearby. The buffet breakfast, however, was worth the cost. Thank you, we will be back!

We had a lovely stay at Le Pelican— great location, 10 minute walk to the town centre. Although onsite parking was full, the hotel recommended a nearby car park, where we parked for free as we visited off-peak. Check in was quick and the staff were friendly. Our room was comfortable and well furnished, and the terrace provided a nice bit of extra space. It’s also a dog friendly hotel, although the €20 per night charge for a bowl and blanket did feel a bit steep. The hotel also has additional facilities like a pool and gym, though we didn’t use these during our stay. Overall, we would recommend the hotel as a great base for exploring Annecy and the neighbouring towns. A small welcome gift or a complimentary mini bar, especially given we stayed over Easter, would have added a nice touch and made the stay feel even more special.

The Pelican is relaxed and luxurious. Our room had a stunning view of the mountains, a very comfortable bed and a fantastic shower. The breakfast was very good and provided good options for my dairy intolerance. The outdoor pool with spa jets is a real highlight!

Excellent.

Absolutely stunning hotel. Welcoming staff. Parking was a breeze with spaces for EV. We had wine in the bar and dinner at the restaurant. All was wonderful apart from the weird bread/butter situation where we had to ask for another butter stick and plate/knife (is this a French thing?) Room was exceptionally fitted. The only thing not supplied was body lotion! Fabulous shower. Location excellent as the old town is a short walk away.

The con: There was a lot of construction around the hotel. Lots of traffic. The property itself was excellent. The included breakfast was excellent. The views of the park/ lake were spectacular.
