Not as nice as the pictures
We had a lovely holiday, however the photos make the apartment look a lot more luxurious than it actually is. The approach to the complex is scruffy and the surrounding buildings look run down and messy and we wondered what we had turned up at - however the building the apartment in is the tidiest on the complex. The cleanliness of the apartment was not great and I had to get some cleaning products and clean the bathroom and kitchen - there were hairs on the sink, dust/dirt all around the sink edge and food remains in the fridge (garlic and onion skin). There was also a constant curry smell in the kitchen. However the bed sheets and towels were clean and the beds were comfier than they looked.
Our children didn't like the swimming pool as it was slimy on the bottom, and the fact you had to sit on the floor around the pool as there were no sun beds meant you were dirty whenever you stood up, so we ended up having to go to the beach each day.
The walk into Juan les pins is not pleasant - greasy food smells all the way but once you get through the initial area Juan les pins is ok, however we ended up getting the 4 mins/€2.40 each train into antibes which is a beautiful town with great restaurants and scenery.
We had a lovely holiday but I would not return to Juan les Pins or this apartment. It is the price of 4/5 star but compared to numerous other apartments I have stayed in i would only give it 3 stars.
