Antibes family holiday

We stayed at the apartment on our first family holiday with our two young daughters. The whole stay was fantastic! Firstly, the apartment itself has everything that you could possibly need and it is in a great location (near the train station, beach and central Antibes). Richard and Gail were very helpful in the build up to our visit and also for the duration of our trip. If we went back to Antibes we would definitely stay at the apartment again.

Well equipped, good sized, centrally located flat.

Short distance from everything in Antibes. Sometimes this is an advantage, occasionally a disadvantage. Car parking was a bit tight. Contact with the managers was OK and they were there to help (the bottle of wine in the fridge was a very welcome touch). The flat was well equipped with good quality furnishings and kitchen equipment. Easy to find for the restaurant delivery guys (1800 curfew and no restaurants were open whilst we were here but that wasn't a problem). Not noisy despite the location and local building work. Easy to get to local walks around the town and locality.

So disappointing !!

The building works to the front and rear of this apartment make it not fit for purpose at the moment. We arrived on a Sunday to see from the balcony four large cranes to the front of the property and a large JCB digger to the rear. Work commenced on Monday morning at 7.30am on both sites . On Tuesday it got worse when the building immediately to the front of the apartment was literally demolished !! We spent as little time in the apartment as was possible getting up when the workmen started work and only returning after 6pm when they had finished. Richard and Gail remain very friendly and the apartment itself lives up to previous reviews - although it does lack air conditioning in the bedrooms . At the moment though it should not be rented to guests.

Great location!

The location is great, 5 min walk to the port and beach, lots of shopping and grocery options. The apartment is well secured and equipped with all necessary things to have a pleasant vacation life.

Magnificent appartment near the old part of the city which is perfect for a family

Lived for a two month long period in winter. It is very near the historical sites like Fort Carre and the harbour which is only five minutes away. The appartment is very sunny and comfortable for a family with a view of Cap d'Antibes. Many thanks to Gail and Richard for their kindness and availability.

Most convenient location possible, however travelling to it. Nice big flat, superb balcony views.

We loved the property and the location, just minutes walk from everything. One felt part of the area as Antibes is so friendly. Richard and Gail were so helpful and kind, everything organised smoothly and efficiently, even helping with the luggage. Magnificent vistas from both the balcony and the bedroom windows (the Alps Maritimes). Spent a very happy month with different family members joining for different weeks. November very different from summer as regards numbers of people on the street,but probably more enjoyable for temperature - over 20 degrees in the sun- nicer than the 35 I have experienced in July, so one can get out more.Garage does need a little care when manouvering, modern cars have increased in size over the last 15 years, but the flat has masses of space for four people and we never felt crowded. All mod cons laid on, and clear explanations on how to use them, nice for TV watchers to be able to find their favourite English channels, but with the superb restaurants of Antibes to be discovered, who has time for TV anyway? To sum up, cannot recommend this property highly enough and hope to return.

Lovely spacious top floor apartment with sunny balcony and in great location

Lovely spacious well equipped apartment which was a great base just a short walk to the station, marina and bars/restaurants. Balcony had sun all day and private as on top floor. Richard and his wife made us very welcome giving plenty of tips on surrounding areas to explore. Antibes is one of our favourite places to visit with Nice and Cannes easy to get to by train, St Tropez by boat as well as some lovely towns in the hills by bus. We will be back again soon!

Great apartment

We had a beautiful time in this apartment and truly enjoyed our holiday. The location couldn’t have been any better since it only takes a few minutes to reach the Old Town on foot and one can easily walk to the beaches of Antibes. The apartment is clean and very comfortable and also offered enough space for our family. Whenever we wanted to visit other cities like Cannes or Nice, we could easily walk to the train station. We highly recommend this apartment!

Très bon séjour à Antibes en famille!

Cet appartement est situé idéalement entre la gare, les commerces, la plage, les restaurants. Il est très bien entretenu, propre, fonctionnel et comprend tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un agreable séjour Le propriétaire est très sympathique, disponible et vous accueille chaleureusement. Petites infos pratiques pour les français : M. Richards parle anglais, mais fait un effort pour se faire parfaitement comprendre ! La communication a été très fluide. Pour obtenir plus facilement les chaines françaises sur la télévision, nous sommes passés par le câble plutôt que par le decodeur (simple changement de branchement à l'arrière du téléviseur). On a utilisé que la télécommande du téléviseur du coup. Climatisation dans le salon seulement, mais avec les ventilateurs dans les chambres, cela a été très bien ! L'imeuble est tres bien entretenu, avec ascenseur sécurisé. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir!

Hervorragende Ferienwohnung

Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und geräumig. Sie liegt im 4. Stock (Aufzug vorhanden) mit einem schönen Blick über die Dächer von Antibes. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen und ist durch nette Details (Bücher- und DVD-Sammlung) ergänzt. Ein kühler Tiefgaragenparkplatz mit Zugang zum Aufzug macht die Wohnung für Ausflüge mit dem Auto sehr angenehm. Nizza, Cannes und St. Paul de Vence z.B. sind schnell erreichbar. Zu Fuß ist man in wenigen Minuten in der Altstadt oder am Sandstrand. Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen!

Nah zum Hafen, nah zur Altstadt

Die Wohnung im vierten Stock ist hell, klimatisch gut zu steuern, und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Der Balkon mit Blick über die Dächer ist an den heißen Tagen vor allem abends ein angenehmer Ort. Der Fahrstuhl erlaubt auch gehbehinderten Menschen den Zugang zum Appartement. Das liegt zentral und bietet in der näheren Umgebung, was man braucht und gerne sieht.

Bon séjour dans un appartement très bien situé

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par nos hôtes. L’appartement est très bien situé, il est à quelques pas de la gare, des restaurants du vieil Antibes et de la plage. Le logement est bien agencé, propre et vous y trouverez tout ce qu’il faut, comme à la maison. Le lave linge séchant et le lave vaisselle sont très appréciables. Le place de parking sous terrain, certes à l’étroit, est un atout. Je mettrai juste un bémol pour le balcon qui est tout juste pour 4 personnes. Aussi, attention à mettre à jour le descriptif de l’appartement qui annonce 2 salles de bain, alors qu’il n’y en a qu’une et des barbecues que nous n’avons pas trouvés. Dans l’ensemble nous sommes ravis.
