Disliked: Cleanliness
When we arrived, there was no toilet paper in any of the bathrooms. This was a huge issue since we had driven 6 hours and I had my 90 year old parents and my daughter with special needs. Host was helpful and had some delivered within 30 minutes. Made me question how well the cleaning people had cleaned the property if they didn’t bother to leave a roll of toilet paper in any of the bathrooms. They actually put a roll of paper towels in one of the toilet paper dispensers. Communication with the host was horrible. She stopped responding once I started telling her the problems we were having. (Day 2 into our stay) I contacted VRBO directly and she wouldn’t respond to them either.The toaster didn’t work.The front left burner on stove wouldn’t ignite and only allowed gas to escape. Very dangerous!The rugs were dirty and needed to be cleaned, especially on the steps. They had area rugs in all the bedrooms that were rolled up on the ends and were a huge tripping hazard.The host told me she had a full size ironing board and it was not. It was a small table top ironing board.The host told me there would be seasoning and there were notThere wasn’t any sample dish detergent to use in the washing machine, which made me question if the plates were sanitized between customers.The Kurig was not clean and we had to disinfect it and clean it before using itBeds were comfortableCommunication with the host was awful from the booking, I should’ve known then.
