Absolutely incredible cottage and hosts - perfect!

I can't say enough positive words about our experience at this accommodation. Not only was the cottage clean, beautiful, comfortable and perfect for our family, the view exquisite and garden and the pool incredible, the hosts went above and beyond what is expected and normal for the industry. From the first moment of contact they treated us like family. We arrived to a warm welcome, a fridge and pantry full of groceries, homemade goods and a delicious traditional homecooked meal- made happily to suit our specific dietary needs - which are not easy to accommodate! They thought of every thing we could possibly need and made sure it was available to us (eg.- we asked them what they had in terms of soaps and shampoos and they bought us conditioner because they didn't have it!) The hosts were in touch with us throughout our stay, checking in on our plans, making suggestions and helping in any way we needed. They even came to say goodbye with other homemade treats and goodies to take home, along with sweet kisses for our kids. This is a really special family who have created a beautiful villa and absolutely outstanding hospitality and service- it is more than a place to stay- it is a personalized experience of Crete and a taste of the amazing culture and people that live there. The location of the cottage was central and great for travelling around the island. If we are ever back in Crete we would stay here again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend it to anyone!
