Several things wrong with room on arrival, floors were dirty turned our white socks black, phone in room did not work, thought it was all inclusive but every restaurant required reservations and must make them on the app. Well the app did not work told me no available reservations for everyday we were there. You could eat at the buffet but for sanity purposes I am not able to eat buffets. On the website it stated Miller Lite was available, it is not. The staff were okay but not overly excited to help. Kind of acted annoyed when I asked for help. I have stayed at Riu Palace in Cancun and got excellent service. The pool was nice and clean, the drinks were okay, the Ocean is amazingly beautiful waters. I loved the beach and ocean! The balcony view from our room was great, the furniture on it could be better, was plastic chairs like you buy at a Walmart not high end like the price of the resort was.

The people were fantastic! Very fun and extremely sweet! The only dislike was when we moved rooms for a better view, the AC didnt work that well, the phone was disconnected, they were also repainting the building and didnt let us know, we had visitors on our balcony every morning. Other than that, i would definitely come back! #BAHAMALOVING

Stayed on 09/17/2025 until 09/21/2025. Rooms are dated. My bed skirt had stains on it upon arrival. Bed was shaky and wobbly and I felt itchy in the bed. Food was terrible at Bahamas restaurant. Didn’t try any other restaurants. Food at the buffet and jerk chicken station was good. Customer service was very good. Wouldn’t recommend staying here if you like nice rooms and comfortable beds.

The constant extremely loud hip hop or rap music at the large pool. Since they were always doing shot parties at the smaller pool, it made it quite impossible to even have regular conversations with people. The vast majority of the staff were awesome. We have been to this resort about 4 times now, the first since the reno, and it seems that some of the renos(like pool tiles falling off) were done without much thought. The fact that there is no bathroom close to the buffet, was a pain.

The staff: All of them, from housekeeping to concierge, are wonderful. We were treated like royalty and did not experience a bad moment the entire stay. I would recommend RIU hotels to anyone.

We love our stay at this hotel for 9 days!! U can walk to places but transportation was not bad. U could easily book tours in the hotel and the entertainment at night was awesome. U definitely must try all inclusive, its truly worth it 😊

The staff were nice, there was limited dining and restaurants were closed on certain days, and the buffet didn’t have great food when we wanted dinner. Roach in my room. I upgraded to a superior suite and there was nothing superior about it, it was a regular room still. Please upgrade everything!!

Our ocean view from the fifth floor was excellent. The pool area and ocean beach were convenient for relaxation. The restaurants, food, personnel and service were excellent. Our only problem was the lack of resort provided transportation/shuttle service to the local markets. Taking local taxis was the only transportation available and limited our genuine shopping options.

This is a very well kept resort and the staff was very pleasant. The food was outstanding. However, the speciality restaurants appeared to be under staff and unorganized. There is also very little "organized" entertainment (e.g., music, dancing or entertainers).
