Price was right, staff friendly, room clean, bed and room comfy and cozy, easy parking, nice smelling shampoo. Decorated for Halloween :)

Easy check in. Well lite parking lot. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, odor free, and spacious room. Absolutely no complaints. Breakfast was simple but provided choices and much appreciated.

I went to a Humboldt 30 years ago and chose to stay at the Hotel Arcata while on a recent college tour visit with our son. Stay at the Hotel Arcata for the you-can’t- get- more-central location on the Arcata Plaza and the friendly, helpful staff. Yes, the hotel is old and quirky, but it’s clean and the rooms are large. the hallways are full of really great historic photos of the area and the visitors guide to the area that they have created is really quite exceptional. They do offer muffins and yogurts in their breakfast lounge, but we passed those up every morning so that we could go to Los Bagels instead! Definitely bring your ear plugs if you are staying on a Friday or Saturday night because the Plaza will be full of students bar-hopping. But Sunday was very quiet. :-) Anyway, thank you for the stay, Hotel Arcata!

Room and bed very comfortable. Convenient parking. Great atmosphere.

Staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. Plenty to do at hotel. Gym, bowling etc.

We have stayed at this property many times. Good, clean rooms and comfortable beds.
