Boasting a sunny and serene lake view backdrop across the central lake, this 2 bed retreat offers a chic retreat for families of 4.

Inside the first floor apartment, guests will be made to feel right at home within the inviting contemporary interior. With a high ceiling, lake views to take in and a stylish open plan living room to relax and entertain in, an uplifting ambience can be enjoyed here in any season.

Furnished in a palette of restful hues that are complemented by every home comfort, the setting personifies escapism in the modern age. The sitting area enjoys direct views across the lake, for the perfect scene in which cuddle up and enjoy a morning coffee, favourite book or movie night in, to the flat screen SAT TV. WIFI access is also to hand for guest’s convenience.

The contemporary fitted L-shaped kitchen diner is equally inviting and offers every appliance needed for carefree holiday cooking. Guests will find a gas hob, oven, toaster, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher and fridge to hand, whilst the chic dining table for 4 is lit by an ambient set of quirky light fittings and enhanced by striking white bucket seats with wooden accent legs.

From the sitting room, heavy French doors slide out onto a sunny covered terrace furnished with sun loungers and a dining area for 4. Out here the full majesty of the lake can be fully appreciated. Encompassing the verdant eastern shore and stretching past the famed L’Isola Comacina to the Valtellina peaks in the distance, guests certainly have a spectacular sight to enjoy in any season!

The master bedroom in the apartment boasts direct views of the lake too; for a 5* room with a view. The comfortable double bed and tranquil interior provides an ambient setting in which to savour a tempting holiday lie in, before the children wake up. Direct access from French doors leads out the covered lake view terrace, for an effortless flow here in the summertime.

A second bedroom to the back of the property provides a serene haven in which children can enjoy a good night’s rest, with a modern set of bunk beds to hand. The apartment is further complemented by a modern fitted bathroom with power shower and private laundry facilities.

From the first floor apartment, 16 external steps lead down to the wonderful shared poolside and sunny terrace. With breathtaking lake views to take in, guests can easily enjoy soaking up the sun and reviving the senses with a refreshing outdoor swim. The pool is shared by just 12 apartments, which are all located within the exclusivity of the two-storey residence. A private parking space and garage also feature to the complex for guest’s use.

Situated in an elevated part of Argegno, the residence is located just a 10 minute walk from the main lakeside and a 1 minute drive from the amenities. The ancient town of Argegno is very well-serviced, with cafes, restaurants and wine bars to savour alongside convenient connections; which include a main lake road, a frequent bus service to the cosmopolitan highlights and Milan links of Como (30 minutes) and the picturesque ambience and family Lido of Menaggio (20 minutes) and a passenger ferry stop. Argegno is within easy reach of the famous L’Isola Comacina and Locanda di Trilindana restaurant in Sala Comacina and the lakeside Lido, power boat rental service, tennis and Sacro di Monte Ossuccio climb in Ossuccio. A further 5 minute drive leads to the fashionable Lido di Lenno and the famous Villa Balbianello attraction. The Tremezzina shore (14 minutes drive away from Argegno) offers a plethora of authentic restaurants and wine bars to enjoy alongside another Lido and the world-class gardens and beauty of Villa Carlotta. From Cadenabbia ferry port, a frequent ferry service operates around the ‘Golden Triangle’ towns, for the perfect excuse to enjoy a spot of sightseeing during your stay.

A holiday on the central lake offers one of great variety, with water sports, boat rental, kayak hire and lake swimming to enjoy alongside Lidos, hiking, tennis, golf, horse riding, tree-top climbing, cookery lessons and even skiing (at Piani di Bobbio).
