Quirky budget hotel near interesting eateries

Although a budget hotel, it still provides everything a weary traveller will need - toiletries, pyjamas, hot pot and tea, coffee, ice and mineral water dispensers in the lobby, coin-operated laundry. 2 of us stayed opted for the largest double room and the space was just nice us, our large suitcase and backpack. While the daily breakfast spread is small, it is tasty and effort is made to vary the daily menu. Weekday curry dinner is a nice touch too. While the staff are polite, their limited English makes their recommendations un-touristy - they suggested walking Aeon mall for dinner (which works), but actually there’s a long walkable street called Showa Dori just 2 streets away with heaps of restaurants! Google for ramen and you’ll also find 3 famous joints scattered around the hotel within 5 mins walking distance. A tip for drivers - arrive after 4 to avoid paying additional parking charges, but before 6 in case onsite parking is full and you’re directed to park down the road. Parking fee is per-entry per-day, so you may like to plan when you retrieve your car. Having said that, this hotel proved to be a decent base for sightseeing in Furano and Biei.

This is a business mans hotel. You must be or of the room between 10 and 3pm, like it or not. And you hand in b your key every time you go out. Rooms pretty tight, but not uncomfortably so. Fairly good English speaking staff

Very good for value. Has everything you need. The single room has a bath tub, queen size bed, breakfast, good wifi, hair dryer, sleeping robe etc etc.. room is clean too, and just 5-7mins walk to station. staff are friendly and helpful
