Extended Stays
Reservations of 30+ days are subject to additional review. Stays exceeding 90 days require a separate agreement. Security deposit, mid-stay cleaning fee, and trash pick up fees may apply depending on the length of stay. Payments

14–31 days before arrival = initial payment is forfeited.
Within 14 days of arrival (or early departure/shortened stay) = all rent payments are forfeited, with cleaning fees and applicable taxes refunded as required.

The Colby Loft is in a fantastic location. Located right in the heart of downtown. The S&W Market below the condo is a historic art deco building with a few take-out options for breakfast, lunch & dinner. We were able to walk to local restaurants, shops and points of interest. Parking and unloading was a challenge- but the public parking garage was convenient and a short walk behind the building. In order to enter the building and use the elevator we were sent several different codes at check-in. This was a bit confusing but we figured it out, and appreciated the security the codes provided. The condo was clean, equipped and comfortable. We liked the cement walls, urban industrial feel, & the decor.We would definitely recommend this location and will consider returning someday.(ps- the king box spring needs replacing) Thank you!

We had a wonderful time at the Colby Loft. It was so central to our downtown explorations. The apartment was really comfortable, with everything we needed. One note, the previous tenants did not take out their trash & recycling. This may have been due to some confusion in finding the trash receptacles. There seemed to be different directions in the book, emails, and fridge notes. We found the bins are outside, on the back street behind the building (not in a trash room past the elevators). Other than that, we found the Colby Loft a delightful stay.

This apt is very cool and the kitchen is amazing. We loved being right downtown and within walking distance of everything we wanted to do…and it was surprisingly quiet. There are several passcodes to get into the rental but we appreciated the safety measure. Our only complaint and it’s not a small one is that when we went to get into bed (on our anniversary night), there was an absolutely strong and horrendous chemical smell on ALL of the bedding, just noxious…we both developed headaches and tight chests within five minutes. I checked to see if unscented detergent is used there and it is…then looked underneath the kitchen sink cabinet to find the possible culprit and there it was—OdoBan spray. Yes, that stuff kills germs but it’s so toxic and really stinks!! Removing the pillowcases and sheets didn’t make a difference so the mattresses and pillows themselves were no doubt doused with this gross spray. We didn’t get a bit of sleep and because there are no opening windows, there was no way to introduce fresh air…it was truly ‘that bad’. Not a nice anniversary to say the least. By the second night, the smell had faded somewhat so we could sleep but it was still noticeable. We contacted the property manager and asked for a reimbursement of that first night as it was a total bust and we felt so ill…but the most they were willing to do was give us 100 back which is rather laughable. Again, it’s a really cool space but make sure you ask in advance for no OdoBan!!!!.

Very comfortable and beautiful property. Well appointed and furnished. Excellent bedding and bathrooms. Save and private located in the heart of Asheville. Only problem is parking. Clsest lot is very expensive. More affordable parking is blocks away. It's worth it because i love the property -just wish parking wa easier.

Great location, but apartment and the building need some TLC

Location: right in the center of downtown. There is a parking garage directly behind the building for 12/day. Noise was not an issue. Apartment access instructions were unclear regarding location of the elevator in the building. It takes 3 access codes to get into the apartment. The 4th access code to the back door of the building was not included in our check in information-problematic when the trash bins are located on the alley outside that door. Trash disposal information was incorrect or incomplete in all mentions in lease, check-in, check out, apartment binder (on 2 different pages), and on refrigerator. The management company had to call building maintenance to find out where trash needed to be disposed of. There was a horrible smell in the hall, like rotten cafeteria steam table cabbage, the entirety of our stay. This is outside of the maintenance responsibility of the leasing agent, but it was EXTREMELY unpleasant every time we had to enter or exit the apartment. The apartment was well stocked with the basics and a few nice extras like coffee supplies. Things that need to be added: a cutting board and a whisk. The apartment and furniture are showing signs of significant use and need a good deep cleaning. There are some repairs needed to water damaged flooring in the bathrooms. There is no closet access in Master bedroom to hang clothes. Overall, not terrible, but we would not stay here again due to the smell and poor maintenance.

Lovely loft space, great location

This was a great place to stay with my besties for our girls' reunion and I will likely bring my own family back to stay next time I am in Asheville, which is fairly often. I didn't realize that there was no parking available but there is a fairly priced garage within walking distance so not a big deal. Gorgeous place, lots of vibe.

Everything was great except for the management company. The condo states it holds up to 7 guests. We arrived and there were only 4 towels. We requested additional towels and were told no they only supply 4. We had 5 guests so had to supply our own towels.

This was a GREAT PLACE!

Everything about this place was top notch! Beautiful historic building! VERY Secure! Easy! PERFECT LOCATION in the heart of downtown Asheville! I was concerned that it would be very noisy in that location but was very quiet inside and lively energy outside. I would highly recommend!

The location is great. Easy to walk to everything. Unfortunately, we arrived on Friday evening around 5:30 to find that the property was not clean. We found food, trash, dirt, a Q-tip, etc. all over the floors. The dust on the master bedroom furniture was so thick we could write our names. The sheets seemed unclean so we had to wash them before we slept. They came out and cleaned the floors. No refund or discount just an apology in the form of an email. Would not recommend this property based on the response and the uncleanliness. Mistakes happen but more should’ve been done. And the Q-tip was still there after they did the floors.

Beautiful and right in the heart of the downtown action. If the Asheville vibe is what you seek, this beautiful apartment is for you. Well furnished and very nice appointments. Linens, towels and accessories as good as. It. Quiet. If you aren’t into the downtown scene, you may prefer a little farther out. Property is managed by a bigger company and has many rules and hoops. Arrangements were not cleared until the last minute even with a reservation paid for weeks ahead of time. Wish it had been smoother. But, the property was worth the hassle….i would return.

Great location and ample room for two couples. Accommodations were quite comfortable and the unit was well-equipped. Parking with a motorcycle trailer was not easy and was real expensive until after Saturday at 6:00 PM. But, I’d stay here again!
