The common spaces were open and inviting and the shuttle driver was very nice. The room might have had a nice view, but the power shade was broken so we couldn't enjoy it. The room had plenty of space for a family of four; however the beds were uncomfortable and the AC didn't seem to remove the humidity from the room. The wardrobe needs a rod installed to hang clothes and the bathroom sink could use a towel rack for the hand towel. Parking was easy and convenient.

The location and staff were great. All the socket outlets in the room didn't work. The elevator carpet is stained and there is a mildew carpet odor when getting off the elevator on the sixth floor.

Our stay at the Element was fantastic. From the reception staff, to the 24 hour coffee bar, to the cleanliness of the hotel, we could not have been happier with our stay. The room was very modern and even had cutlery, plates, and cups. Sometimes in a hotel, these aren't typical in just a normal room, but we found them beneficial! My favorite part was the open space on the second floor that offered couches to hang out on and a 24 hour hour coffee bar! The hotel was close enough to downtown Asheville that it was only a 5 minute drive, but we appreciated that it was a little secluded. We'll definitely be back!
