We were very pleased with our hotel stay. The check in clerk was very friendly and our room was immaculate. The bathroom was modern and very roomy. The shower was nice with built in soap/shampoo dispensers. The bed and linens were super comfortable.

Did not feel like a new hotel.

For a new hotel it felt very worn down already. Stains on chairs and the floor in our room, paint chipping off walls. Floors tiles were chipped in the lobby. When we made it to our room we noticed we did t have a shower curtain. We were given a new one but we think it was too small for our shower. It barely hit the top rim of the bathtub. We had to kill a few bugs in our room. Plus the pool is out of commission, but nowhere did it tell us that as we booked our room. Our kids look forward to swimming. Staff was all very nice though, from the front desk to the ladies doing the breakfast. Everyone was very friendly and willing to correct any issues, if they were able to.

We checked in at 9pm. The neighboring room had two people that were talking at a normal volume and we could hear each word distinctly. Yes, we should have asked to switch rooms right then but figured they would be asleep soon enough. The TV in their room was on at 10 pm when we went to sleep. It stayed in until 4:55 am. Heard every single word from the car commercials and whatever they were watching. I could not fault the people. The television was not loud and they should be able to talk and watch TV, such as they did, without the room next store hearing it all including coughing and snoring once they finally slept (early morning). I talked to a very sympathetic team at the front desk who shared they hear this complaint “all the time”. The building was supposedly rushed in completion and corners were cut so that the owners of this franchise could start making their money. In fact, the pool isn’t even completed. The front desk could not offer me a refund because I booked through Expedia. I will take this up with them but something for all of us to be aware of. Are you listening Expedia? Bleh……..

The staff was very pleasant, but overall, I found the hotel to just be mediocre. For a relatively new hotel, there were a lot of random brown stains on the carpet/smears on the walls, and one of the towels (thin, rough, and not particularly absorbent) had a massive yellow stain on both sides whose origin I did not investigate further. The walls are paper thin, and I could hear all the random noises from what seemed like 4 different rooms, including the incredibly loud snoring of my immediate neighbor. All of the communal tiled floors could have used a good mopping, and when I went to check out, there was what appeared to be vaseline smeared on the wall of the elevators. The bed was relatively comfortable, and sheets appeared clean, but those factors alone are not enough to tempt me to stay again.

Night shift desk clerk was friendly; she had little Easter/Spring treats in basket at desk- fun for our g-kiddos! Also helpful in guiding us to local bakery (her go-to), which was great to go to for pastries we needed for the morning.
