Within a 10-kilometre distance of the middle of Ashikaga, you can select from a range of hotels to select from.

Although Ashikaga can't claim to be Tochigi's hotel capital, it does feature the Hotel Route-Inn Ashikaga Ekimae, which is relatively close to the CBD.

The Route-Inn Grantia Hanyu Spa Resort can be found 20 kilometres from the middle of Ashikaga. Another alternative is the Hotel Route-Inn Ashikaga Ekimae, which is situated 3 kilometres away. Two other hotel options worth checking out include the Hotel Route-Inn Dai-Ni Ashikaga and the Hotel Route-Inn Koga Ekimae.

Once you have explored Ashikaga, schedule a little time to visit the wider region of the Kanto area. Kanto has beaches and coastal plains, along with common Kanto attractions like the ruins and castles. Or join the locals in the snowboarding and skiing while you're here.
