They were doing renovations and did not notify us until after we checked in about the noise and the non available areas .. good enough but our room was too small and it felt claustrophobic.. looking at the other rooms they were beautiful and with balconies facing acropolis .. great and centric location ! Right next to Starbucks and major attractions

We came after hours and the hotel knew this. They never communicated to us how to enter after hours or that we needed a code. I called the number they gave us and they were able to give us the code to enter where our room key was waiting behind the desk. They had a brochure of all the amenities they offered and laundry service was one of them. When I went to the front desk and asked how we do laundry service, the girl at the front desk said we don’t have laundry service. So just a few inconsistencies.

This beautiful hotel is in a great location in downtown Athens; a few minute walk to historic sights and to the subway. The rooms are lovely. We did experience a power outage while here, not the fault of the hotel. The manager showed excellent customer service while managing this. Would highly recommend staying here.

This hotel has a surprisingly elegant interior! The rooms are modern and nicely designed. It’s super conveniently located, only minutes from Monastiraki Station (where we arrived from the airport and also left to go to the ferry port). The staff are very friendly. My main issue was that you can hear every time someone enters or exits the hotel. You can hear every conversation in the communal areas. It makes it very difficult to sleep when you have an early ferry to catch the next day. One other thing to note is there wasn’t natural light in our room but that wasn’t an issue as we spent very little time at the hotel.

Location can't be beat

The room is barely bigger than the bed but the location is unbeatable. You are literally right around the corner from Monostraki square. A 3 minute walk from the metro station opening. The front desk isn't manned 24/7 so if you need to leave at something like 8am, you'll need to let the front desk know and they will arrange to have someone there at that time. Would stay at the Icon again without hesitation.

Good location, good stay

Location was great. Service was ok, they tied up with a nearby restaurant and they were really hospitable. The airport transfer is 55eur and not inclusive in the stay. Expect noise at night.

Lovely boutique hotel in an amazing location

Loved the location - Monastiraki metro is only 3/4mins walk. Many shops and restaurants are within max 5min walk. Would love to come back ♥️

Great central stay!

The location is central, close to everything. The rooms and lobby are nicely decorated. The room was clean, a bit small but ok. Reception until 23:00, entering with code after but it was secure and room doors were beeping when not closed properly. My room didn’t have a view, no natural light, it was quiet apart from vents noise outside.

The property is in a great location,close to alot of stores,restaurants, & shopping.Staff was friendly & helpful, however me and my family was not able to get any rest at night while staying here because you hear every noise thats going on outside, rooms are not soundproof.They dont have towel bars or shelves either in the bathrooms.

Great Stay

Overall it was very positive, the staff are very kind and helpful and the place is stunning and the location couldn't be any more perfect. The only issue was with the noise, once reception left after midnight I was woken up every night by people trying to enter the hotel and instead of following the instructions they just charged at the door and slammed it shut. This might just be an issue with the room I was in as it was directly above reception/the entrance

Enter the vibe of Athens with just a hop, skip and a jump! The Athens Icon Collection, a new boutique hotel, conveniently sitting in the heart of Athens' city center. Resembling a high-end, New York city apartment, its polished finishes stimulate the eye, while providing luxurious comfort. Adjacent to the hotel is its Agora, a beautifully designed restaurant/cafe/lounge. The floor to ceiling windows allows for natural sunlight to illuminate through the space, as you gaze into the vibrant streets. Offering delicious and healthy meal choices, you're sure to receive the energy needed before venturing to explore what the city has to offer...but before you leave, treat yourself to one, or more, of their homemade bakery yum-yums and/or a hand crafted java jolt :P Kudos to the hotel's creator and its staff.
