The check-inn worked well. Room is spacious and well kept. Very good bed! Street noise could be minimized by letting shutters down. Well equipped space to make drinks, including fridge. Bathroom good with nice soap.

RUN fast in another direction!

Not sure where to begin with this one...! The virtual greeting was not a problem although it was not made clear in the ads that this was an Air B&B so the greeting was hardly a warm and fuzzy one. The photo in the ads from the AthiInn must have been taken ten years ago. I have attached some photos indicating the mold on the bathroom ceiling,the rusted..and broken waste bin in the bathroom..the oily stain on the headboard..and the huge space around the closed door to our suite. We couldn't take a photo of the noise but for a "sound proof room"...we heard every sound of every passing scooter , siren pub goer and recycling bins ..ALL night long the was noise. We couldn't get into the safe as it was locked. The we mentioned it the person we phoned said "the company was going to fix it"..So..we had to either carry our passports and $$ everywhere or entrust it to this sketchy place. I must say that the young man who delivered the extra pillows was very pleasant. I wouldn't stay at this place ever agin no matter what the price. Every other place we stayed in during our three week trip to Paris and Greece were great..this was our last hotel to stay in before we left Europe..not a happy way to end.

Nice but noisy hotel

Great location and very nice looking room. However, the walls and doors are made of paper and they apparently have a let-your-kid-run-wild policy. Getting in is a pain, too.

The location was excellent. I really liked the neighborhood and it’s vibes. This trip was my first encounter with renting a room vs being in a hotel without on site management. This was a bit off putting as while I was showering on my final night, I lost power. Management, however, responded quickly, and power was restored within a half hour. My room was cramped but the bathroom spacious, and the balcony very nice.

It was really run down. We loved the location except a bar right across the street which was very noisy. One of the bathrooms had a broken toilet seat. The other bathroom had major water damage and has some mold issue from it. Floor outside door was very unsafe . Door handle was broken. Beds were very comfortable. Rest of apt was very good.

The check in was a nightmare. We were not contacted about the self check in so we were left standing on the street with our luggage. A nice couple who were also staying there showed up and got us in and contacted the owner for us. She was rude and insisted that it was my fault for providing the wrong contact number, which I did not. She had the country code wrong. Finally got to the room and the door handle came off in our hand. Netflix was supposed to be available but it asked us to sign in. When I contacted the owner to ask how to sign in she didnt answer me and there was no more communication for the next three days that we stayed there. There was black mold on the bathroom ceiling. The location was good, right in the middle of the restaurant and shopping district but it was also very noisy. I would not recommend this property.

The location of the apartment is perfect. In the middle of town and in walking distance from everything. It is also very easy to communicate with the stuff. A quick reply to every question. We were staying at the 3 bedroom apartment in the second floor and although it was very spacious, it needs a renovation. The floor at the entrance to the bathroom was broken, the bathroom wall needs to be painted, etc. The place definitely has a lot of potential and I’m sure that an overall will make it more welcoming

The apartment was spacious for our family of 8, was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The staff is not onsight but responded promptly to emails before and during our stay. Certain rooms were a little loud at night from a nearby restaurant but it didn’t really bother us.

I was really looking forward to my stay at this hotel. We saw great reviews and ravings, but it did not live up to the positive reviews. Good: - very close to Acropolis - many good restaurants nearby - comfortable beds - quick to communicate through WhatsApp Bad: - I contacted the property before my stay asking if we could check in early. They said yes and that they had time to clean it. We walked in and saw the following... 1) there were many visible coffee grounds still left in the coffee pot 2) the doorknob to our bathroom was completely broken. One side of the doorknob had fallen off entirely. The other side was barely hanging on. That is very inconvenient for multiple reasons, and we had to put the bathroom trashcan in front of the bathroom door to make sure it wouldn't open while we were on the toilet/taking a shower. 3) there was a water leakage in the bathroom drawer and there was a puddle of water that had accumulated in the bottom shelf. There was wear and tear in that shelf and it looked like this leak may have been going on for quite some time. We requested a discount but they said we could move to another hotel halfway through our trip. Not convenient at all. It would have been difficult to get everyone in my group away from their activities to move to another hotel that hopefully had a bathroom doorknob. Disappointed because I was looking forward to staying there.

We had a wonderful stay at Athinn Residence. Everything is in a walkable distance from restaurant and and bus stops. The free wifi and elevator is the best. My sister’s was also in Athens with us but they dont have a elevator at their hotel and they regretted it fir the same price. Everything is good to go except there is no shower wand hanger. Plus this new things about NO person checking you in and out is new to me. Everything has to be done electronically. Response time is within limits. I only stayed 2 nights there so I didn’t ask for new sheets and towels. Overall I will recommend and stay there again.

The property needs some help the paint is peeling of the walls and there are a few things that need updates. The place was clean and neat but the biggest problem was that the Air conditioner was not working properly. The living room was the only room with A/C the three bedrooms were like a furnace. I was awakened at 3 am but my grand daughter sobbing that she could not sleep she was sweating so badly. Contacting the management got us no help at all. So we suffered for 2 days. Also the other thing that was dangerous was the lights in the hallways were on a sensor. It was fine walking up the statins but going down there was no light until you reached the 1st floor and triggered the lights. It was very scary for a 77 year old woman with vertigo to go down dark stairs could have been fatal.

The location was great, with lots of restaurants, shops, and sites nearby. The beds were comfortable, and the shower was great! We enjoyed having a balcony. We were on the 4th floor, so the view was cool. However, the last flight of stairs was rough with luggage:). It was still worth it.
