Unhappy 2nd visit!

Ok, this was our 2nd stay at this property and we chose it because our 1st stay(4years ago) was amazing and memorable! This was the complete opposite!!! When we 1st arrived to our room, there was a condensation line directly above the door that had a continuous drip that would sometimes hit you if you weren’t fast enough to get through the door! lol . Our private pool area was unkept, the hedges needed to all be pruned and there were dead leaves everywhere but the kicker was that there was an ashtray in our pool! Our room safe wasn’t bolted down to anything, so you could just lift and take it if you wanted too! 🤷🏻‍♂️ we could never get a hold of reception from our room phone so we would have to climb like 30 flights of stairs to just go ask simple questions. This hotel used to be a 4 ⭐️ but after our experience this time around it’s more like a 2.5 ⭐️. It’s a shame because this place has or I should say had so much potential! I can honesty say this is my 1st ever review! I’m not one to write a bad review because I’m also in the hospitality industry and I know how affecting a bad review can be on a business but when I am paying around $850 a night I expect things to be to that calliber!

Beautiful property. Room was clean and bed was comfy. The walk from the pool/beach area to buffet and rooms were quite a walk with many stairs. We got the all inclusive package and you can tell the drinks were made with the most bottom shelf of alcohol. If you want to drink coke or sprite, they will give you an off brand version of that which tastes nothing like the two. If you want the real coke or sprint option you have to pay extra. The pool bar does not have fresh water, only water from a fountain that is warm. At the buffet, you can grab cold dispensed water.

Definitely not even close to a five star hotel so I’m not sure as to why it comes up as that it’s more like a max three star rating. The service is terrible. All the rooms smell like sewage. This is a fact because we had over 40 rooms booked at this hotel for family and friends staying here for a wedding so the general consensus was the same from everyone. The property has lots of potential however you can see that the owners or management just don’t care to look after guests. Not sure why they were charging for coffee from the espresso machines and different fees for instance in the lobby coffee bar the americano is 5 euros and if you walk 100 meters the same is for 4 euros lol they will never see me back and I had booked three premium rooms with pools. Do yourself a favour don’t bother just because it’s close to the airport. Travel an extra 20 minutes and get a better experience. This is from a well traveled family. We only stayed here because it was close to the wedding venue and to be with family. Do yourself a favour if you do decide to stay here for whatever reason don’t eat here at all go off property food and drink and cost is far better quality and service. Good luck travellers.

It was ok. Check in was rough. He was doing multiple things for multiple people and missed a lot. Such as giving us a map or explaining how all inclusive works. Ended up paying for our first lunch because he didn’t give us bracelets or tell us what was included. Which is only the buffet and one bar. Our shower flooded within a couple minutes of being on. Had issues a couple times with no hot water. There were also two days where they cleared the beach of chairs and we couldn’t sit on the beach. Also couldn’t get towels the first day because they weren’t cleaning them. Beach was pretty dirty with debris and cigarettes. Overall, shocked it’s 5 stars.

The hotel is dated and is inaccessible if you are in any way handicapped—lots of stairs and lacking elevators. The pool area ran out of towels early and never replaced them. Our air conditioner did not function properly and the rooms are dated and small. The photos make it look much better than it is.

The room was not large enough for 3 people as was recommended. The property is very safe with security and a gate to enter. I liked the taxi service that was available to guests. Rates were always set and very reasonable. Drivers communicated through WhastApp with photos so you knew who to look for it was great. Don't use the airport transfer service company they are quite expensive but have the hotel book a taxi it was only 40euros.

The resort was beautiful. Right when you enter the lobby there is exquisite tile work and a beautiful aesthetic. I had a massage at the spa and it was fantastic. We also really enjoyed the pool, beach area and the ocean. Excellent location. Downsides: We purchased the 'all-inclusive' package, but it wasn't actually all-inclusive. We were only allowed to get alcohol from one bar that was off the beaten path and the drinks were horrendous. Not to mention, the staff running that tiny shack weren't even bartenders. We could also only eat at the buffet restaurant. Super inconvenient when were at the pool as we would have to walk all the way up the hill change, go eat, change and go back to the pool. The food in the buffet was delicious. The website also makes it seem like water activities like kayaking are included, they are not. It was fine for a two night stay, but I would have been very annoyed if I stayed there any longer.

The staff are friendly even those who struggle with speaking English. They are hospital and quick to respond to your needs. It would be better and quicker to order in suite food via the phone than the Zeus app, I don’t think they ever check it. Same thing with booking airport transfer via app, just call the department or the reception to have it done for you (yeah, it’s a bummer if you want to limit your in person interactions).

The Operations Manager Anna was very kind and made sure to check in with us almost daily during our week long stay to make sure we were having a good time and that we had everything we needed. The staff was super friendly and catered to our every whim. The place is spectacular with the biggest pool of any resort I have ever been to and of course a wonderful seaside beach. The Buffett was great for both lunch and dinner in a huge dining hall. Won’t hesitate to return.

The hotel was very convenient in terms of being close to the airport. Their food options are very pricey and not very good. We came late in the evening and got buffet style food for 25 euro per person, but it was over priced for the quality of food they offered. Also, we just wanted a muffin and a coffee for breakfast, they only had 28 euro per person buffet and nothing else as breakfast option. The place is ok, but you need to strategize with the food. Also rooms don’t look as big as on photo, we got an option for a queen size bed and a bunkbed. It was good in terms of price, but not all that in terms of cleaniness.
