The shuttle service is a small van that works by a reservation system. Our flight was late so we had the choice of waiting several hours for another hotel shuttle or spending $30 on a cab.
It may have been just because it was the middle of the night, or the entrance being in a dark alley with graffiti everywhere and slummy buildings but the location seemed poor; we paid less for places on the beach in tourist hotspots
The AC didn’t work and the shower head was broken so water sprayed out of the stall onto the bathroom floor.
The room was not what we expected — instead of a queen bed, we got two twins — and the mattress was very, very firm.
Other than all that, it was nice.
