2days by airport on way to ANTIPAROS Perfect place for anyone,especially families or couples Hosts are so helpful and friendly and even have there own Vineyard grown wine The restaurants nearby are great with shuttle service Visited Greece first in 1963 and was one of my most memorable and warm community/ cultural experiences Three Cheers

Wonderful place to stay in Athens area. It was convenient to airport and offered shuttle service to the airport. The staff was so nice and informative. They told us about the area on the way to the property. They gave us suggestions on where to go in the evening. I plan on visiting again.

Cute bungalow. 4 friends on a girls trip had a great time. Walked to beach and rented beach chairs (€6.50 and came with coffee and water). The pool was beautiful and clean. Had some floats and noodles to use. Quiet area. Friendly staff with welcome wine they make. We’d go back to stay for multiple days and vacation there.

Beachy near the airport

Comfortable stay for one night near the airport. Small town near Athens and a 20 minute drive to the airport. Town has quutea few restaurant choices including with very nice Taverna on the beach. The pool is lovely and the staff is very helpful 😎

Elias and his wife were wonderful! Very easy to work with regarding airport transportation and restaurant reservations. They were both very kind and personable. We loved the bungalow concept. It was perfect for our family of five. The pool is amazing! It was a great place to end our vacation in Greece. Easy access to airport. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy their amenities!

Wonderful, unique experience

This was a unique and wonderful hotel. We really appreciated the upgrade/ early check-in option for 30 euros and the bottle of wine. Everything is new and clean and there are great restaurants nearby. We didn't get to the beach, but the hotel's pool was perfect. The airport shuttle was very convenient too. We stayed here for a night after a cruise and before heading home.

We chose this place because we wanted to be near the airport for an early morning departure and have two bathrooms. The pool was a nice option for the kids, too. It checked those boxes. I booked this nearly 4 months in advance and emailed to confirm there are two bathrooms. They confirmed yes and also stated “We also upgraded you with a big private jacuzzi.” I said great and thank you. When we checked in the owners said in front of the kids that the jacuzzi room would be an additional $30/day. The kids got excited, my partner thought if we didn’t pay others would use it, so he paid. In my exhaustion I didn’t put everything together. When I went back I looked at the email from 4 months earlier, I saw there was no reference to additional fees and emailed the management about it. They approached me at the pool (not in writing) and said there was always a fee and said there was miscommunication as English isn’t their first language. I see it as they didn’t even try to write a sentence about it, and they should be clear about additional fees in writing. One of bathroom showers also leaked water on the floor and had a faint septic smell, so the management should look into it.

Staff was very friendly and offered us free drinks on arrival. Everything looks to be in new condition with clean rooms. Rental is advertised with heated pool and the pool was not heated. Water was very cold. We would still stay there again and I'm sure the heater works. Beach was beautiful and the restaurant we ate at was very affordable and delicious. Highly recommend this place.

The couple who owns the Modular Bungalows (modularbungalows.gr) are two of the kindest and sweetest people you’ll ever meet. They have fruit trees and offered us delicious apricots and nectarines as well as wine they make there. The property itself is a bit older and very remote (in the country). As a result, walking to the small, beach-like shore and restaurants was tricky because of traffic. In the bungalow itself, our shower didn’t work properly (the steam part didn’t work and it leaked) but everything else was just fine. The heated pool is much smaller than the picture. The property felt secure because of card access. The bungalows are close together so we kept our blinds closed. I liked that they are 100% solar and environmentally conscious. Their van is electric and the ride to and from the airport was reliable and friendly. The customer service was outstanding. Off you want something quote and out of the way, this is your place!

The host was incredibly helpful and kind, especially after I made a mistake about booking the wrong dates! The bungalows are like little apartments, cozy, remote, and quiet. Eateries are walkable, a mini mart is right next door, and the room is peaceful offering Netflix and a lovely pool. Very cozy ans peaceful for an overnight stay or a couple nights if you don't want to be in or too close to the city.

We had a quick one night stay prior to heading to the Athens Airport at the end of our trip. (This hotel is 20 minutes away from the airport vs staying in Athens, which is an hour from the airport or more with traffic) The location itself seemed a bit sketchy, but the hotel was gated. The grounds were very clean and well kept. The pool was very nice, which was a great way to relax and end our vacation. It was salt water and heated. Unfortunately, no towels were provided, which was a little odd. The room itself was a decent size with plenty of room and was very comfortable with a small kitchenette. Unfortunately, the bed was VERY hard, but the pillows were fluffy. My hubby felt the street noise was too loud even though we were near the back of the hotel grounds. (I sleep with ear plugs, so I cannot attest to that) Additionally, quiet time was not observed either and some guests were pretty loud as well. The bathroom was a bit small, but for one night it was fine. The air conditioner was great and blew very cold. Finally, I would recommend Uber over their airport shuttle, half the price. Overall, I thought the price was worth the one night stay. I would not choose the hotel as a place to stay for a week, but for a day or two, yes, this place would work.
