The perfect place to end our stay in Greece. Even just for one night. The team looked after our group with care and their service went above and beyond expectations. The Rooftop team were exceptional! Such incredible food and beverage service and the dishes rivalled the view of the acropolis for sure.

Faboulas hotel - so central

A fabulous position for exploring all the sughts. Easy to find from train stations and rooms were clean and well kept. Breakfast was disappointing but had a goodcrange of you arbt fussy. The rooftop bar was amazing. We had dinner but that also wasnt to my taste and quite expected compare to other resturants we had eaten in. Wine was lovely as were desserts.

Would like to take this opportunity to recommend Pláka Hotel because of the staff making our stay in Athens more comfortable and convenient. Big shoutout to Andreas in the lobby who was super kind in helping us retrieve something we forgot at an airport in another Greek island. Hotel could use a little update with their facilities but the helpful staff makes up for it. The view from the rooftop is also a huge reason to stay.

Wonderful, welcoming staff and incredible view of the Acropolis from both our room and the rooftop bar. Hotel a little dated, but well-maintained, clean and comfortable. Well located for public transport links and all the main attractions. Very reasonably priced.

Roof Top Restaurant Views!

Perfect place to stay in Athens

The location is excellent, the staff are very friendly and helpful (a special thank you to Eva!), the breakfast is wonderful and the view from the roof garden is spectacular.

Brilliant hotel. Everything was perfect, room spotless and a brilliant shower, location is second to none, breath taking rooftop bar with an unbelievable view and excellent menu. Central location

Very noisy the first two nights. Saturday night was surprisingly quiet. Shower was a bathtub that came up to my mid thigh. I had a hard time not slipping getting in and out of the tub/shower.

Great view

Loved the view of the Acropolis! Our room was comfortable and clean. A little noisy at 1000 at night with people in the next room but that isn’t the hotel s fault.

They did not have wash clothes to wash our bodies in the bathroom. When asked at the front desk ,they didn't know what the wash cloths were. They told us they did not use those.

Best hotel in the centre of Athens.

Excellent service from Eva at reception. A definite asset to the Plaka Hotel. Comfortable room, breakfast is always exceptional. I’m a repeat guest. Returning in a few days. Location is fabulous.

Staff was attentive and helpful. Beds were so comfy. Individual comforters. Breakfast was varied, plentiful and tasty. The rooftop bar had an amazing view. Hidden gem in the best part of Athens. Walking to historic sites was doable for walkers.
