The apartment is spacious enough for a large group. We had seven people in ours. It was also clean and the check in process was seamless. The host was very accommodating of some in our group who arrived early and needed to drop off their luggage. Everything was pretty much in walking distance, even the Acropolis. There are cafe's in close proximity as well. We found the host to be very responsive to issues that arose while we were there (a plumbing issue and a door on one of the kitchen cabinets) which they had repaired the day I informed them of the problem. There is an elevator that goes up to the premises; however, it can be finicky. If the person who used it before doesn't fully close the door, then it can't be called back to the ground floor. Also, only one person should use it at a time. We used it for luggage and for some of the older people in our company. There is a bar downstairs that is pretty loud on the weekends, but was not very noisy during the week. This should be considered when choosing to stay at this location. The street can also be noisy. All of this is indicated in the listing, so we expected it. We saw there were additional mattresses in the closet at the end of the hall. The ones on our bed were very hard. There were lots of shops near by and the host was very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Athens.
